Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless

The P5 Wireless is an incredibly classy pair of Bluetooth headphones with the signature Bowers & Wilkins sound

Has going wireless come at the expense of B&W's signature sound?

The P5 Wireless borrows its good looks from its sibling, the second-generation P5. Black leather generously upholsters the sumptuous band and the on-ear cups. Extending from the band are metal spokes, which elegantly criss-cross, before reaching chamfered nameplates.

Elegant design; Wireless audio with aptX support; Above-average sound quality; Excellent battery life

Convenience of wireless is offset by a number of compromises; Narrow sound image

Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless

The Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless are simply the wireless edition of the P5 Series 2 headphones I reviewed earlier this year. With this added functionality, you can now stream wirelessly from your phone. In most other respects, however, the design is more-or-less the same.

High-class style; Rich sound; Wireless

Some report connectivity complaints; Thick sound limits separation; On-cup buttons could be refined

Review: Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless headphones

Uncompromising in style and substance, the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless are the cream of the wireless headphone crop. From the chart pop of Little Mix's 'Black Magic' through to the more bass-heavy, rock tones of Arctic Monkeys' AM , we found the music we trialled over several weeks to be crystal...

It's hard to stand out in the crowded headphone market, but the upmarket Sussex-based Bowers & Wilkins has made a good job of it these past few years. B&W's designs are distinctive – a bit too distinctive for my liking in some instances – and its dinky over-ear P Series is pure design art.

Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless headphone review

It's hard to write anything new about the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless headphone because so much of what needs to be said has already been said-twice! My review of the P5 Wireless is based on the P5 Series 2 which in turn was largely based on my impressions of the original P5.

B&W kept the excellent P5 sound; even when wireless; Convenience of Bluetooth; Lightweight; Comfortable; Exquisite materials and build quality

Expensive; Bag looks more like a purse than a protective bag

Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wireless Headphones Review

We're no strangers to high-end headphones, so when Bowers & Wilkins sent over its latest wireless headphones, we knew we were in for a special treat. The P5 Wireless are an icon brought back to the 21st century.

They are perfect, you can distinguish every single instruments, they don't lag like other wireless headphones. I would not recommend them for working out.
