Bowers & Wilkins MT-60D Review

The Bowers & Wilkins MT-60D satellites are very good, but the PV1D subwoofer is a knockout.

Fantastic subwoofer; Satellites deliver excellent imaging and separation; Innovative mounting options

Satellites aren't quite on par with the sub; Spring-loaded binding posts can't accept heavy-gauge speaker cables; Subwoofer is quite expensive

Bowers & Wilkins MT-60D Home Theater Speaker System

As athletes such as Michael Vick, Kobe Bryant, and the whole New Orleans Saints defense have learned the hard way, even when you're the best, it helps to be friendly. Big surround sound systems aren't friendly to your décor or your pocketbook.

Amazing quality and sound!

I bought this sound system back in 2011 and fell in love with it straight away. The manufacturer is now one of the few that I blindly trust due to the high end quality of the speakers and richness of the sound that is produced. Speakers and subwoofer are elegant with glossy finnish and smart design.

Bowers & Wilkins MT-60D review

I was fortunate enough to audition Bowers & Wilkins' first PV1 subwoofer and M-1 Mini Theatre speakers. At the time, my lad was just a boy (now he is man-sized) and even he said, ‘Dad, they're just clearer than the others,' as they wiped the floor with their assembled rivals.

High performance for small speakers; delicious scale and imact; lavish looks

Premium price tag; connections are a bit fiddly
