The Bose Free Space 51 outdoor speakers are unique for their ability to provide 360-degree sound dispersion. In an outdoor space, this is especially useful because sound tends to dissipate and end up lacking in fullness.

Easy setup, great sound with deep bass. Blends into landscaping very well making it appear that music is just coming from plants .
Great deep sound; easy to install and blend into landscaping
So far, no cons; At first I thought they were pricey, but after installing them I realized they are well worth it
I own two pairs of the Bose Free Space 51 which were submerged under water for 5 days during Hurricane Harvey. As the water had receded I allowed the hot Brazoria, Texas sun to do its job by drying them out.
I tried a few other speakers before biting the bullet and spending the money on these Bose speakers. (Such as and ) I wasn't ready to pay the higher cost for something that, on paper, doesn't look like it would be that good of a speaker. But in the end, they sound great.
They sound OK at low levels, but don't turn them up, they can't handle it and don't sound good. For the price and name they should sound better.
Great sounding speakers! I was looking for new outdoor speakers....deck approximately 16' x 24', and decided not to hang speakers on the wall. These blend in with plants extremely well and have great sound....good bass and great imaging...most people can't tell where the sound is coming from.
Easy Setup; Easy to Mount; Good Power Output; Great Sound Quality
To myself
I HAD MY OUTDOOR FOR 10 YEARS AND LOVE THEM TODAY.
I think that these speakers, as well as all other bose speakers are the best. You won't be dissapointed if you purchase these. Highly recommended.
Very wide 360 degree sound; Handle a LOTTT of power; Blend in with the atmosphere perfectly
A little pricey; should be about 250-300 dollars
Set these up over the weekend one on each side of pool in the flower beds. At first I had an issue getting enough volume to them but it turned out it was the fixed and variable setting on my Sony receiver for Zone 2. Once I changed that the sound was incredible.
