Review: Bose Computer MusicMonitor

Verdict: What's insanely small and costs way too much? A diamond. What else? Bose's new Computer MusicMonitor desktop speakers - but they sure are shiny with their silvery aluminum finish.

Pros: They do look nice! Easy to put beside your screen, does not occupy much space
Cons: The sound is flat, no details or sparkle. The Bass is dull and boring. Pricey
Verdict: I tried these from a shop, they did look very nice when first spotted. I wanted some nice speakers to use with my laptop, and that could be transported if I was going away for some time. The sound was also important, of course! But these failed miserably!

Pros: Exceptional sound quality, attractive design, easy to set-up
Cons: Minor bass loss in far low end of the register
Verdict: When it comes to high quality audio, Bose certainly know what they are doing. The Bose Computer MusicMonitors are a compact speaker system designed to give high fidelity sound without the need for a separate sub-woofer.

Bose Computer MusicMonitor

4.0
Verdict: Laiq and I had recently done a shootout between the Sennheiser 350 and the Bose QC3. The flurry of comments revealed lots of strikingly different views and opinions, but then variety is what it's all about.

Bose Computer MusicMonitor

3.0
Pros: Clarity in mid and high frequencies. Upwardly angled for desktop listening. Sleek and compact design. Powerful output
Cons: Overpriced. Very little low-end presence. Remote is limited
Verdict: Bose is better known to the general public for its QuietComfort headphones. Now, in its Computer MusicMonitor, the company has some very small, very expensive computer speakers. A Bose representative told me that the concept behind the Computer MusicMonitor was to create the "highest audio accuracy"...

Verdict: Bose seem to be obsessed with musical accuracy and an unobtrusive design, and that's exactly what you get. We've been playing with the Bose Computer MusicMonitors for a few days now and it's becoming really easy to distinguish between a good recording and a bad recording.

Bose Computer MusicMonitor

3.6
Pros: Vocals have good presence and weight, Excellent build quality, Compact
Cons: Expensive, No subwoofer out, Not suited to action movies or games
Verdict: Design and Features Getting "the greatest possible sound from the smallest possible speaker" was the aim of the engineers of the new Bose Computer MusicMonitors, and to begin with, they certainly got the small part right.

Verdict: Outstanding sound quality-but what else could one expect from Bose. Exceptional full range sound, even without a sub-woofer for the bass!

Verdict: If you listen to these with your ears then the sound you'll hear will be coming from those speakers. Not bad but sounds like what you hear through them.

Okay, expected more.

5.0
Pros: Small package
Cons: Hard to believe they're Bose speakers
Verdict: Okay for computer speakers. Expected more out of Bose. At one point they sound blown and that is not at peak power either. Was afraid to turn them up when hearing that sound at minimal volume.

Not for $300

5.0
Verdict: Crisp mids and highs are fantastic, but very little bass. These would be perfect if coupled with a sub woofer. I turned up the bass as high as I could in my computer's EQ and still not enough. Look great and highly portable, but sadly lacking, especially for the price. Returned them.

Great speakers

2.0
Pros: These are very small speakers to fit any desk arrangement that may have a tight fit. Fantastic sound and really solid bass from a speaker of this size. Sounds are clear and conscise. Really happy with this purchase
Cons: They are very expensive by computer speaker standards, but the old saying holds true here, you get what you pay for. Other then that, the only real gripe I had was the cords, both the outlet as well as the sound cord were both a bit short for my home set up and had to make everything stretch to...

Good speaker for Music, Excellance clear sound stage but not for bass lover

4.0
Verdict: This speaker is over value compare to performance. The sound near audiophile the treble is very clear and excellence sound stage. you can hear each instrument so clearly. Bass is sufficient for Acoustic, Pop, Jazz or music lover style but if you is a bass lover and love Techno-pop(Syntactic bass),...

Good for your office but not for your home

3.0
Verdict: These are very well made/built - NO doubt about that... but I would expect wireless technology with this price tag. that's a separate issue. These speakers are certainly not for a Living Room (large room) where you would want to have some vibrating sound.

Brilliant Speakers

5.0
Verdict: I love these little speakers as they are so versatile and the sound is amazing from something that is so small. I use mine with everything that has a 3.5 jack including my Sky box. I have even bought the case to put them in when I'm travelling.
