All in all, Shadow Warrior is a welcome surprise on Xbox One. Despite the criticisms I have about it, the game was still pretty darn enjoyable overall. The sword combat is just plain brutal gory fun, and the slick presentation will keep you moving forward just to see what the next area looks like.

Great visuals; fun oldschool gameplay; the sword rocks; tons of content

Guns are weak and dull; runs a bit too long

Bodycount

I havent completed the caimpaign yet but it has been reported you can get around 750 just for beating the campaign. At the end of the day this game can be fun if you want to blow things up and enjoy several hours of mindless killing but on the other hand if you are easily frustrated by control...

Bodycount

Bodycount could have been so much more than the generic FPS that it's turned out to be. It has its moments, but they're too few and far between in a game that's plagued with imperfections and glaring flaws.

Bodycount (X360) - Review

It's probably what I was thinking as well. Something along the lines of: "Does the world really need another FPS?", followed by some mutterings under my breath about how Codies should stick to their forte of making superb racing games instead. But I digress. Bodycount .

When a game is released, it enters into competition for the time and money of its target audience. The latest entry into the first-person shooter fray is Bodycount, a game that tries to gain a foothold by putting you on semi-destructible battlefields where skillful kills are rewarded with powerful...

Skillshots can be gratifying; Some sizable and appealing environments; A few fun guns

Gameplay feels flat; Campaign is only six hours long; Enemy AI is lackluster; Multiplayer modes are rudimentary

Bodycount – Review (360, PS3)

Bodycount, for a long time, is being hailed as the spiritual successor to the frantic action shooter, Black. Developing an original action shooter, however, in a genre full of military shooters that gross hundreds of millions of dollars ala Call Of Duty and Battlefield amongst others is a really...

Flawed, bloody shooter has over-the-top action.

Parents need to know Bodycount is a very violent and bloody action game played from an immersive first-person perspective. Even the game's marketing materials talk up the arcade-like violence with phrases such as a "cinematic orgy of shooting and wanton destruction" and "mouth-watering arsenal of...

Bodycount

You can't blame Bodycount for trying. The long in development shooter from developer Codemasters, and the spiritual successor to cult favorite shooter Black tries very hard to be THE first person shooter game that fans of the genre have been waiting for by incorporating elements from a number of...

Bodycount reviewed

Whilst this is true, there are unfortunately a lot of issues with this title and they hinder what at times is a good, solid game. With a name like Bodycount we were never expecting a huge harrowing tale that touched our hearts or really stirred our emotions.

Bodycount (Xbox 360) Review

When Outtie gave me a plain looking game box with just a myriad of guns and the title Bodycount, this should have been my first clue as to what to expect.  The second clue should have been the lack of any sort of description of what Bodycount is about on the back of the box as well as in the...
