I think the maps are way too big for the pace at which your troops move, It is okay at best, as it kind of gets boring after about a day.

At its core it's still very much the same game as it was in 2007, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's a lot of gameplay and customisation options here to satisfy fans of the genre, and the added Nightmare mode is a neat little ode to what is obviously a committed fanbase of the studio.
+ Slick; smooth action; + Strong sense of empowerment in battle; + Nightmare campaign
- It's an eight-year-old game that doesn't really evolve on the original; so that's worth considering
A barely-improved version of a seven-year-old game with a fantastical bonus campaign, Bladestorm: Nightmare remains an anomaly, for better and worse.
Bladestorm Nightmare is a strategy game where the player takes the role of a mercenary and chooses to fight either for England or for France. The missions in this home console video games are inspired by real events and battles from ‘the Hundred Years War' (1337 – 1453).
I only bought it for the nostalgia since i used to have the original. The game is good for a while but soon becomes repetitive and tiresome, the new content is quite a nice addition but doesn't stop the game from becoming a giant grind fest.
