Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K

Blackmagic Design Pocket is an easy to use 4K cinema camera ideal for video and film making on a budget. It's the second-generation of Blackmagic's Pocket Cinema Camera, and comes with many new features over its predecessor. There's also a more advanced 6K model that costs more than double.

This camera can natively shoot up to 4K-60p and has excellent video quality. It boasts a 5-inch full HD touchscreen and superb RAW formats. The short battery life is the biggest disadvantage of this camera. Plus, fixed touchscreen without articulation and no continuous autofocus are its other disadvantages.

Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera

There was a time when higher performance cinema cameras were bulky and prohibitively expensive; the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera shoots 1080p RAW, is small enough to fit in your pocket and costs under a thousand bucks. Who said living in interesting times was a curse?

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera Review: Small, Fussy, Beautiful

The announcement of Blackmagic's $US3000 RAW-shooting Cinema Camera in 2012 caused such a stir that not many could have anticipated a followup model, so soon, that was a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the size.
