The gameplay of binary domain feels like a weaker version of mass effect, but one thing I can appreciate about this game was the satisfying ending unlike mass effect. Also the multiplayer is completely dead.
3RD PERSON SHOOTER, GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT VALUE
Good graphics, annoying voice commands, ok gameplay and decent sound. Also, if you enjoy sniping this game is not for you, it's the most annoying scope, not even a scope but a circle on this like computer screen with crosshairs, it wobbles around way to much.
Every once in a while a game comes along that sneaks so far under the radar, that when you ask friends if they have played the game they stare blankly as if you were speaking a foreign language. Sadly this seems to be the case for SEGAs very solid third person shooter Binary Domain.
Binary Domain is a very interesting action RPG. What I liked the most about the game is the story line which really gets your attention and a cool trust system with your partners. Also, if you have an mic, you can answer the chat options with your own voice.
Binary domain is a great game with a great history, frenetic action shooter, great graphics with some a la vanquish style, the early begginning maybe some railroad prograssion but everything else is good, higly recomended, only real bad thing is the frame rate in some parts, but you can deal with it
Maybe it's the deliciously satisfying procedural damage. Perhaps it could be the themes and motifs pulled from a hundred and one of my favourite works of science fiction; from films such as The Terminator , Dark City and Blade Runner, to the writings of Asimov, Clarke, and Heinlein.
Fantastic set-pieces and enemy design; particularly the bosses; Tight gunplay compliments an excellent story; Tries to innovate in terms of voice commands and interaction..
...but doesn't always succeed; Conversations can sometimes feel a little superfluous; Context-sensitive buttons could be sharper
A future so bright you have to wear heavy armour. Binary Domain is a futuristic squad based third person shooter based in Tokyo in 2080. Your job, and that of your multinational squad, is to infiltrate the city and find the people behind the making of the highly illegal Hollow Children; flesh...
Great enemy destruction and massive robot boss fights
The first few hours are slow and the voice recognition feels like a gimmick; Map design is bland in places.
Twenty minutes in to 3 rd person shooter ‘Binary Domain' and I was starting to get worried. Two generic looking soldiers, a lack of story information and an extremely patronising tutorial had left me convinced that the following ten hours were going to be a trudge. Luckily I was totally wrong.
Interesting story; Some strong characters; Good voice work and sound effects; Looks brilliant
The voice commands are much more miss than hit; Some cringe worthy dialogue; Multiplayer doesn't really need to be there
