Binary Domain: Better than you think it would be

Binary Domain is a science fiction, team based, third person shooter, a bit like Gears of Wars expect set in the future of Japan where an organization who produces robots are committing crimes.

"More of a 4.5 than 4"

This would probably have been Sega's best TPS to date, if they had only executed it better. It's an excellent game and I'd put it on par with Vanquish. But it's just not as polished. The voice command could have made the game, but it just wasn't up to standard compared to the rest of the game.

Human technology has progressed to the point where robots walk among us, performing menial tasks that humans are no longer capable or willing to do, but when it turns out that a robotics company in Japan can now manufacture robots that not only look human, but also think that...

Binary Domain Review

Binary Domain is a third-person shooter with a few problems, but everything is forgiven once you start shooting its robots. These enemies are made up like Meccano sets, and though they lack the cutthroat threat of Vanquish's droids, they more make up for it in the details.

First impresion

Good graphics, annoying voice commands, ok gameplay and decent sound. Also, if you enjoy sniping this game is not for you, it's the most annoying scope, not even a scope but a circle on this like computer screen with crosshairs, it wobbles around way to much.

Every once in a while a game comes along that sneaks so far under the radar, that when you ask friends if they have played the game they stare blankly as if you were speaking a foreign language. Sadly this seems to be the case for SEGAs very solid third person shooter Binary Domain.

Binary Domain (PS3) Review

Binary Domain isn't one of those games that have had people talking for months, picking over screenshots and examining each and every trailer with a magnifying glass and notepad. I remember posting its teaser trailer on a news site nearly a year ago and never hearing anything about it again, which...

The Sober pill for ME3

The gameplay of binary domain feels like a weaker version of mass effect, but one thing I can appreciate about this game was the satisfying ending unlike mass effect. Also the multiplayer is completely dead.
