Binary Domain

Summary: Good + Great graphics and sound. + A mixture of gears of war and vanquish (Gears of Vanquish). + Zombie robots. Bad - Some stale voice acting. - Not the most original. - So underrated. Overall I think this is a great game that should of been noticed from the start. I give this game an 8/10.

Binary Domain Review

" Binary Domain " deserves to be a success. It's a solid game, that despite an occasional Japanese quirk, and some dull multiplayer, adds a lot to the genre. The voice commands, whilst occasionally shaky, and lacking Kinect support are at least an interesting proposition, whilst the story and...

Binary Domain 360 Review

I'm quite partial to Toshihiro Nagoshi's colourful game making history, so it was a rare and seemingly baseless moment of doubt that occurred when Binary Domain was first announced.

Great game to play.

Not a bad shooter. Bit different to others of the same genre. Great graphics and gameplay. Your team will run into some huge robotic beasties that are quite hard to takedown but a very enjoyable game to play.

"Straight up action game"

This game is all about shouting lots of bullets and every now and then using your sniper rifle to pop some heads which has the added bonus of making them turn on their own. The voice recognition is kind of fun when it works but it can be really annoying when gets it wrong and instead of praising...

Nice game. Requires 4+ GB of online patch download via Steam account.

The gameplay was very good. A problem i faced was with the Steam account. It installed the game from retail version but did not allow to play unless the game patch around 4 GB was downloaded online.

What if you lived in a world where robots were as prevalent as humans? You'd see them every day--in the street, at your workplace, in the coffee shop--made to mimic the human figure but easily identifiable as machines.

Robot enemies break apart in diverse and gratifying ways; Characters and dialogue are appealing; Thoughtful environmental detail; Amusing command/dialogue mechanic

Mundane multiplayer suffers lag; Voice commands don't always register

Binary Domain

Don't be a Scrap Head by: psychofox ©2012 Chris Fox Binary Domain is a third-person, cover-based cyborg shoot-em' up brought to us by the good people at SEGA CS1, the developers who helm the underrated Yakuza franchise.

Binary Domain Review

In the end, Binary Domain is a game damned by good intention. The idea of bringing interesting narrative nuance, good writing, fresh ideas and mature polish to the modern cover shooter is one that most could get behind.

Binary Domain

In yet another cautionary tale about how self-aware robots will one day turn on their human masters, Binary Domain casts you as Dan Marshall, a soldier leading an international covert-ops squad in what could most neatly be described as Gears of War meets The Terminator .

+ Fast-moving; robot-blasting action; + Several cool bosses and set-piece events

? Has any other game had a French-robot ally
