I bought these headphones for my grandson who is a studying to be a sound engineer in LA. He absolutely loves them. The price I paid for them was also great.

During my time with these cans, I've listened to my entire collection of music, played hundreds of hours of games, and sat with them on for durations of over 8 hours in the heat & cold

I wanted to love them. I really did. But it never happened. I like them, I appreciate them, no doubt, but I wouldn't call it love. Lots of people recommend these as the ultimate in revealing, flat headphones that do nothing wrong. And I agree to some extend.

I use this headphone from another since 2009 in addition to the AKG 271 closed. I also have a Shure I'm testing for 1 year.

Classical music enthusiasts need look no further - these headphones punch well above their weight. Neutral sounding, their lack of colouration makes for incredible transparency and a clearly defined soundstage.

The DT880s are extremely comfortable to wear and have a lovely tonal balance, I would certainly recommend them.

Amazing headphones. Got the 600Ohm version with a sw8 headphone amp for producing music, and everything sounds great!

Simply put, the best headphones I have ever used. Build quality is outstanding. Very solid, but not heavy enough to hurt your head if you wear it for extended periods of time. When used along with my Beresford DAC and AMP, the Beyerdynamic DT880 is just orgasmic to use.

Superb sound stage , Amazing headphones

I bought this when it was on sale (w/free shipping). Beyerdynamic was also having a May promotion for addition discount. It's a phenomenally well-built set of open-ear headphones. They sound great. They fit well and the velour-lined cups are very comfortable.
