Today my boss told me to review a Beyerdynamic headphone. So I put down the Redbull, stopped blasting Chance's new mixtape, and settled in for a listening session. But what headphone to review
I'm giving this review because these Beyerdynamics are the first serious headphones I've ever owned (Most of my older headphones consist of cheap dollar store iem's and a Beats Studio). Yes, they are a huge jump from my previously owned "headphones". The Dt770's have a phenomenal build quality.
Beautiful sound and build quality; Comes with a very long wire built in
May not be comfortable to wear for a long period of time; The cable is unremovable
I've used these for over 10 years now so I thought I'd share my experience with them. In general I've loved them; they're well-made and sound really good. However, I have two caveats.
The good time girls of Beyerdynamics's range of headphones, if you're after big bass combined with a hi-fi high end, the DT 770s are a great buy
Thumping bass; great isolation; comfort
Not the most mature-sounding headphone out there
I can't believe how comfortable these are - I've come from some Tascam TH-02 which I changed the pads to a nice velour covered memory foam pair and the difference is still phenominal.
Excellent headphone for first use ... I prefer the AKG headphones which seems more junk for the same price, which was already broken fairly quickly without any reason (left side / wire loose contact
Got these this Christmas from my mom for drumming. When I first got them the first things I noticed were ; -nice case- leather case with foam for great protection 5/5 -heavy duty- high end product, feels like a $250 headset should 5/5 -noise cancelling- at first I was annoyed because it didn't seem...
Amazing sound clarity and quality. Would definitely recommend.
While the DT 770 Pro LTD 80 Ohm with limiter protects against hearing damage in live settings, sonically, its sound can't live up to Beyerdynamic's comparable models, like the DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm.
Great experience but would appreciate not being badgered 4 times to write a review.
