Although the Custom One Pro Plus headphones, the latest over-ears from Beyerdynamic, have many admirable traits, the name alone sets rather high expectations.

Need more excitement and dynamic flair

Looks are great but when you come to sound my old DT 770 give a quality of sound this cant match. Perfect for listening to normal music but it did not live up to my professional expectation as I still use my DT 770 for mixing.

Only used them for 2 days so far and clarity is great.. I'm using setting 2 for bass.. Sold my Beats PRO by Dre to get these.. These seem a little weak to my Pros so I'm not sure if these have a break in period or not, I my have read somewhere there is..

With just 16 ohms, you can listen to your cell phone and everything else. However, if you want to do field camera sound monitoring like in my case, this is not for you. The full size around the ear earpads used to sweat a lot with one hour of use and the earpads can be uncomfortable.

These headphones are actually pretty dope for the price point. Super solid bass that hits pretty hard and the adjustable bass feature is really awesome as well. You could use these headphones for listening to music and also for mixing or monitoring. they are a perfect all around headphone.

Headphone companies try their darndest to release products that prove how well they know their audiences. Despite a few whiffs here and there, more often than not, these companies are skilled at it.
