Smart wireless headphones that make some real techy improvements, but the sound unfortunately lags behind.
Excellent wireless stability; Good Bluetooth-phone interaction; Energetic; punchy sound
Firm headband pressure; Lack of fidelity for the price
Beats' Solo3 Wireless on-ear Bluetooth headphone ($300/£250/AU$400) looks nearly identical to the Beats Solo 2 Wireless because -- on the outside at least -- Beats hasn't updated its design.
The Beats Solo3 Wireless is a well-built wireless headphone that sounds good in both wireless and wired modes and is relatively comfortable to wear for an on-ear headphone; Its battery life is best-in-class (40 hours) and has a remote control built-in to the right earcup that's easy to operate by...
It's expensive; and doesn't sound quite as good as other wireless headphones that cost $300
I like these headphones mostly because they are very portable and lightweight and vecause they have lots of bass
Comfortable; Compact; Good Bass; Lightweight; Stylish
Flimsy Construction
I just purchased my headphones a week ago and I had no problems with them so far. The quality of the sound is amazing and it fit right over my ears. The battery life is amazing. Since I got them I only charged them twice and for being a person that is always on the go this so an added plus.
Sound quality is great, but it's really easy to get pinched by these headphones due to the faulty design. These headphones can pinch your fingers and cause you to bleed. Look at the pix. Be careful when using. Beats needs to change the design!
Apple is really doing it: they're taking a brand that has the dominant marketshare in the headphone marketplace despite having had subpar audio quality, and greatly improving it while adding groundbreaking features that will take the competition a year or two to catch up with.
W1 chip; 40+ hours of battery life; portable; understated design; bestinclass comfort and isolation for an onear headphone; fun sound signature
Slight lack of clarity in the highs; bass bleeds into lower mids at times (rarely); lowend could be a tad more detailed
Had wired beats solo 2. Super nice headphones but I got sick and tired of the wire popping out all the time when weight lifting. These solo 3s connect very nicely with my iPhone! They are loud, comfortable, and look good. Hopefully these last a long time!
Decent performance that doesn't quite match the expectations set by the list price
Lightweight; good sound
Expensive; especially considering their relative performance; Expensive; especially considering their relative performance
These attractive wireless headphones were the dream gift requested by a family member and luckily we were able to find the right set in the color desired. These headphones are clear attractive and lightweight with just the range one would expect from this high quality product.
