The new Beats by dre Studio 2.0, has undoubtedly gone through major improvements. The bass is less muddier and not as much as the old studios, the highs and mids have been improved and the acoustics are noticeable. But despite that, it is still not a good product.

I use this product for working out at the gym. The sound is unbelievably clear and I can not hear the loud TV at the gym now and am in my own world of music while I work out.

Very good headphones, I love them. Couple of things really bothers me.. You have these headphones on in a normal summer day and your ears will get so warm you wanna cry! Another issue I have with them is if you put them around your neck you feel the headphone is trying to chock you!

Got the blue eminem edition and sound is good they could be a little more durable! Let's just hope they don't snap!

The Beats Solo 2 are a big improvement on the old model sonically, with greater clarity and less destructive bass. They'll sell by the truckload. It's been a few months now but Beats has slowly revised their two flagship headphones the Beats Studio series and the Solo series. Doing this was necessary to shave off any excessive fat they had associated with Monster and also just give their products new life.
