Beats Solo 2 Wireless review

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones look great, feel great and sound great. Sure, you can get better-sounding cans for this price, but with Beats you're ultimately paying for fashion. Thankfully, the gap between style and substance is now smaller than ever.

Look great, Comfortable, Long battery life, Great sound, Beats has made a great pair of headphones even better by cutting the cord, with few other tweaks; The battery life is good, the cans still feel comfortable on your ears, and the design is more handsome than ever

Expensive; Sound needs improvement at the low end; The sound range is much improved over the Solo and Solo HD; though still pretty bassy; but there are better sounding headphones for this price.

These headphones are comfortable, surprisingly light, and sound great. The only complaint I have is that the white noise for noise canceling is a bit louder than I have experienced with other headphones. A bit pricey, but highly recommended.

Beats Solo 2 Wireless review: A very good on-ear wireless headphone, but no bargain

Earlier this year I reviewed the Beats Solo 2 , the significantly improved successor to one of the world's most popular headphones. I liked the Solo 2 and think it's one of the better on-ear headphones that costs about $200 (£170, AU$260), although it helps if you appreciate a zippier, more "exciting" sound profile.

Beats on-ear Bluetooth headphone has lot going for it, but it doesn't quite justify its lofty price tag.

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless is a well-built wireless headphone that sounds good in both wireless and wired modes and is relatively comfortable to wear for an on-ear headphone; Its battery life is decent and has a remote control built-in to the right earcup that's easy to operate by feel.

Expensive; doesn't sound quite as good as the Bose SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth, which costs $50 less.

Just Got Mine, No Sound In One Side

Did I receive a defective pair?

None

Just received my beats literally 15 minutes ago from typing this; Plug it in to listen to it and one side has no sound at all; If I twist and turn the cable sound comes back to one side..what the heck

Excellent.

A bit expensive to buy for headphones but the sound you get is absolutely amazing and because of the sound quality would definitely recommend buying them.

Very smooth with great sound; my son loves them

NO BLUETOOTH

I purchased for my wife - cause I love mine. I thought they were bluetooth - they are NOT! The description never said they were - it's all on me. My wife loves them and said they are the best headphones shes ever had. - Bonus!

Beats Solo 2.0 On-Ear Headphones (Red)

OVERALL: I would say this is a fairly decent headphone but not for its price. Gets a C rating. If you don't care for isolation the Creative Aurvana Live offers better sound for 1/3 of the current price.

Design; Comfort

Inline controls dont work for android phones; Isolation is mediocre; Sound needs better clarity

Beats Top Selling Headphone Gets a Facelift, the Solo2 Review

It has been quite a few weeks for the Beats brand, yet being acquired by Apple almost seems like a distant memory at this point. Especially, after this ...

Redesigned for the better; Sound has improved vastly over the original Solo; Ear cups are comfortable and provide a tight seal; Bass is now much more subtle than before; Good soundstage; Remastered tracks sound especially good

The included soft carrying case provides a tight fit for the headphones; The headband may be too tight for some, but could also lessen overtime; Might be too plasticky for some; The In-line remote can be a little temperamental when moving from song to song
