Battlefield: Bad Company

If there's something that could spoil the experience for those teetering on the edge, it's EA's servers, which I found to be unreliable more often that I'd like. Still, this is an immensely enjoyable experience that will only play better if you're in good company.

Battlefield: Bad Company Review

Relax… this isn't a band-flavored spin-off from the ‘70s . Battlefield: Bad Company is a small dose of the vehicle-heavy first-person shooter that is peppered with an unusual humor and advances on a few new fronts for the series.

Things blow up; People laugh, Cinematic opening

Carrying one weapon; Arduous multiplayer advancement

Battlefield: Bad Company Xbox 360, PS3 Review

It's probably safe for me to say that the console Battlefield game that came out a couple years ago was never as good as the ones released on PC. It suffered from being downgraded, which is what happens to a lot of the multiplayer game ports that get sent from computer to game consoles.

Battlefield: Bad Company

It wasn't until I started playing Battlefield Bad Company that I remembered how much I'd enjoyed Battlefield 2: Modern Combat on the Xbox, and then again on X360. It didn't score all that well with reviewers but my friends and I seemed to play it more than Halo or Call of Duty.

Amazing levels of destruction; Massive maps; Sense of humour; Plenty of vehicles and weapons; Excellent multiplayer

Some graphical glitches; No co-op campaign mode; Dopey AI; If only DICE hadn't turned the v-synch off..

Battlefield Bad Company Review

Since it's roots in Codename Eagle, Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE)'s Battlefield series has been a pillar of online multiplayer gaming on the PC. Focusing on large scale combat with high player numbers and combining traditional first person shooter infantry skirmishes with vehicular...

Battlefield Bad Company

Battlefield Bad Company is certainly a fun title, but for those purists amongst us that prefer the larger scale battles offered by previous Battlefield titles you may be a little disappointed by it.

Review: Battlefield Bad Company (PS3)

Things must be hard for developers hoping to make a wartime FPS these days. Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4 effectively raised the bar to an absurd degree, blowing away even Microsoft's baby, Halo 3, to claim the number one spot on Xbox Live and sell over 10 million copies.

PS3/Xbox 360 Review - 'Battlefield: Bad Company'

'Built from the ground-up for next-generation consoles using Digital Illusions' bleeding-edge Frostbite game engine, Battlefield: Bad Company drops gamers behind enemy lines with a squad of renegade soldiers who risk it all on a personal quest for gold and revenge.

In Battlefield: Bad Company, no one is safe. Not a sniper hiding inside a tower. Not a soldier driving a massive tank. And definitely not you, as you bob and weave across a fiery sandbox of destruction.

Blowing stuff up has rarely been this fun; Great collection of gadgets and vehicles; Massive 24-player multiplayer maps; Finally a fleshed-out single-player game; Excellent balance in player classes; vehicle strength; and map layouts

Some enemies in campaign never graduated basic training; Conquest mode not available at launch; Graphics and textures appear grainy
