I thought Id give bad company a go because it is part of the 'Battlefield:' range of 1st person shoot em ups, which in my humble opinion has overtaken Medla of Honour as the 2nd best franchise in the genre.

DISCLAIMER: A couple of notes to inform this review. First off, it will cover both of the Bad Company games, though the scores are more indicative of the second game in the subseries.
First off, I must say I preferred the demo then the full game. With the full game I fount myself just doing the same stuff over and over again. Now I've played and completed the full game I'm actually quite disappointed with it, the ending was terrible, you'll see when you come to it.
Multiplayer: Supports up to 24 players. Was the Gold Rush multiplayer mode only included in the initial release of Battlefield: Bad Company. The setup of the game is an Attackers vs.. Defenders scenario.
It has a great story but is quite short, but it is better online. <><
I never had any preconceptions when I picked up Bad Company. It didn't cost me very much and I didn't really expect a whole lot but right from the off Bad Company charmed me with its light hearted take on the FPS genre.
Blowing up stuff is cool; destructible environments look awesome; great soundtrack and effects
Squad - mate AI; linearity
Even though newegg advertises the game with free shipping I had to pay shipping because the game "came from another site". Seems another version of bait and switch.
Got this game for my grandson and he picked up the controls right away and loved the game play; Enough killing and gore to keep him entertainment
As much fun as the game is my grandson (10 years old) breezed thru the single player novice mode in one day; Hopefully, the more experienced modes will be a lot more difficult
Hostility amongst the allies Let's not beat around the bush here, war is bad. No one wants to hear about it, it causes ridiculous amounts of pain and misery, and seems inherently pointless, much like a lovers tiff over the decision to re-introduce blue Smarties.
Destructable environments offer tactical play; All levels show impressive length and range of objectives
Too easy on all difficulties; Team seems utterly hopeless; Long walks between missions
Welcome to Bad Company! As the newest recruit in America's premier B-Team military unit, you've been given the chance to forgo jail time and serve your country. The regular army may be trained to be first to fight, but you are literally the first guys in and act as a speed bump for enemy forces.
As video games become increasingly more realistic our expectations grow. Take Battlefield Bad Company for example. You can totally destroy the side of a building, yet you can't take the whole building down, and that makes us disappointed.
