The batteries have to be removed after use so they don't die, and then replaced before using again. Software is poor and the binoculars itself is difficult to use. Also, the picture was blurry each time.

I bought the binoculars for my grandson just for a toy, so I didn't want to spend much. I could not believe the quality of the binoculars when they arrived. They are very sturdy and the clarity of objects is comparable to much higher priced binoculars.

Purchased this for my 9 year old granddaughter to keep her from wanting to use mine all the time. She loves having her own, they work great and the color is perfect for a girly girl.

Until cybernetic augmentations for superhuman vision is available, this is the next best thing (yes, I know LASIK can give you better than 20/20 vision, but it has its risks and drawbacks). It's cheap, durable, and came in handy more than once.

Bought them today after comparing a number of compact 10 x 25 binoculars including a Nikon, a Steiner and a Zeiss (mid to high-end). Well this little Barska outshone even the top models with easy focus and very sharp image. Tested in darker conditions under trees and performed better than expected.
