Nobody told me settling a new planet would be this relaxing!

Simple but fun gameplay; beautiful alien world; interesting story for campaign; easy to get into; very relaxed atmosphere

Buildings are hard to distinguish; campaign story is incomplete; very little sense of progress to campaign

SimCity in Space.

Avon Colony is actually pretty interesting, it's a city management game but in space, you are tasked with colonising alien worlds, and although it's quite small compared to some city management games, it makes up for it's size in it's depth. Definitely recommend.

Overall, I had an absolute blast playing through Aven. It's as absorbing as it is relaxing, and it does a good job at bringing its own to the table whilst still retaining what makes city builders fun and challenging.
