The Audio-Technica SR5 are among the cheaper headphones you'll find stamped with the Hi-Res Audio logo (on the box only). They cost £99 for the standard set, or £150 with Bluetooth for ATH-SR5BT. This makes almost all the big-name rivals look over-priced.
Smart design; Fairly comfortable; Relatively neutral sound balance
Hard edge to sound; Sterile-sounding mids
Japanese headphone maker Audio Technica is among the most respected ones around, for a number of reasons. The popular ATH-M50X and ATH-MSR7 are two of the best headphones we've tested in their price categories, and we still recommend them even today.
Looks good; Open; clean sound; Excellent handling of lows and bass
Sound has a sharp edge to the mids and highs; Expensive; Fatiguing sonic signature; On-ear fit isn't the most comfortable
it is better then I expected. The reviews from all of the audiophiles are spot on, the sound reproduction is like a headphone that you would pay $450.00 dollars for. The best way to describe them is incredible!!!!!!
Took advantage of a great offer. They sound wonderful, the manufacturer online was helpful in assisting me to order an additional (and affordable) lead with normal stereo jack because the one with this has a built-in mic and won't work from my laptop.
Comfortable and light with great sound and affordable " thumbs up "
