Audio-Technica ATH-M50S Headphone Review
Overall, the Audio-Technica M50s headphones represent a very good value for what they offer - an accurate, if lively, presentation of music. Uncompromising in their musical reproduction, don't expect that basement recorded podcast to sound good on them but your uncompressed music will come through...
Pros:
- Good isolation
- Linear bass response
Cons:
- Tight fit

Let's get something out of the way from the get-go. The Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones are a great pair of headphones for the money -- and great headphones period.
Pros:
- The, offer excellent build quality and very detailed, balanced sound with tight bass
- They're also very comfortable and are a relative bargain
Cons:
- There's no integrated microphone for making cell phone calls
- the bulkier design makes them less suitable for mobile use
- and the headphone cord isn't detachable

I bought these for college to use in my dorm room and studio, and for this they are perfect. They block out ambient noise, but if, say, a fire alarm goes off, you will hear it. They are very portable, at least for full-size headphones, and fit neatly in my backpack with all my other stuff; and...

Great headphones with excellent bass and high frequency response
After making a lot of research about headphones, I narrowed my purchase choice to this one... and I do not regret. First off all, it sounds *much* better than many of its competitors in this price class.
Pros:
- Solid construction and produces a more "natural" sound
Cons:
- None

Probably my most affordable hi-fi purchases. Very good sound over all registers. At first I was a little surprised that the base was thin, but it's there when the music delivers bass! If you go from cheaper bass-heavy lurking takes a while to get used to the kvalitetsbas as ATH-M50 delivers.

Audio Technica ATH-M50 Headphones
These headphones are so amazing the bass ow the sweet bass its low and deep and punchy and detailed. Mids are like Liquid Gold and Highs are just beyond fantastic. This gives you more than what you pay for. The Sennheiser HD 280 PRO is nothing compared to these these blow out the competition easily.

I've had my AT ATH-M50's for about a year and honeslty it's the best purchase I've ever made. I'm an on-air/mobile DJ and up until the AT's I had yet to find a comfortable/good sounding/durable pair of headphones.

Audio-Technica?ATH-M50
These are awesome headphones. I've had some nice audiophile grade ones before but truly astounded at how much detail/resolution these phones have. I did a direct comparison with the equally awesome Shure SRH-840's (which I was originally intending to buy).

Review: Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones
It is only recently that I have become interested in higher end headphones. I used to be one of those people thought that the Apple headphones that come with an iPhone or iPod were sufficient, but then I saw a comment on a forum somewhere saying that people who think the Apple headphones are good...
