this made me really sad. Sound quality is ok

I bought these headphones in April, til this date (november, same year), both sides are broken, they are in plastic and I only use these headphones inside the office. First side broke in my hands, out of nothing. The second side broke with the phones dropping in the ground.

SHHHH… ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling Headphones

The rumble of the train as it rolls down the track or the roar of the plane's engine is enough to give anyone a headache. The Audio-Technica ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint Active Noise-cancelling Headphones are designed to give you an island of quiet no matter where you are.

Light and comfortable; Use to reduce ambient noise with or without audio playing; Listen to music with or without NC turned on; Takes an easily replaced AAA battery

Unboxing experience is mediocre; Build is just okay; Sound with NC turned on is fine; Sound with NC turned off is just okay

Audio-Technica ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint Headphones

Priced $100 less than the top-rated Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones, Audio-Technica's ATH-ANC70 QuietPoint headphones (starting at $199.95) deliver loud audio in a light, compact frame. The ANC70's active noise-canceling technology can offer a sliver of quiet in some of the noisiest settings.

Attractive; lightweight design; Loud audio with accurate mids; Long-lasting battery; Can still play music after the battery dies

Uncomfortable fit; Light bass; overly bright highs

Audio-Technica's ATH-ANC70 QuietPoints (MSRP $199.95) made some great strides forward this year. These cans are very comfortable, packed with helpful extras, and decently balanced. Of course, many shoppers are looking for more than just "alright" audio.

Worked great until they shocked me

Got the headphones in late November, and they worked great at first. The carrying case included isn't a hard shell, but decently solid. The noise cancelling (NC) feature was pretty impressive, although the silver button on the side did seem a little shaky and cheap plastic feeling.

Bad

The connection inside of the headphones where I would connect the cord does not work. You have to move it around to even hear the person. Very poorly made, especially for $100

Poor build quality, regret purchasing

I was very disappointed with this product. I previously owned the ATH-ANC7b which are a great pair of noise-cancelling headphones with good build quality. After 5 years of daily use, my ANC7bs started to show their age and I was given a pair of the ATH-ANC70 as a gift.

Comfortable; Good sound; Good noise cancelling for the price; Lightweight

Cracking/popping noises after a couple months; Flimsy Construction; Poor Value

AUDIO TECHNICA QuietPoint ATH-ANC70 Noise-Cancelling Headphones - Black

Uses a cable to attach to telephone/radio Wireless is no good for me

Noise cancelling not just as good as Bose Hoped noise cancelling would reduce the sound of barking dogs more than they do
