Asus Transformer Pad Tf300tg Review...
In the midst of VivoBooks and PadFones, the Asus Transformer Pad TF300TG is a great throwback. It reminds us of a time when the manufacturer specialized in compelling Android tablets with docking keyboards.
Asus Transformer Pad TF300 review Review
The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 is not as thin or as sturdy as its big brother, the Transformer Prime, but it offers comparable performance for £100 less.- Powerful quad-core Tegra 3 processor
- Faster Wi-Fi performance than the Prime
- Bold
- responsive screen
- Micro-HDMI and microSD slots
- Not as thin or sturdy as the Transformer Prime
- Screen not as outdoors-friendly as the Prime
- Camera isn't quite as impressive as the Prime
Asus Transformer Pad (TF300T) review
The Asus Transformer Prime has been the standard-setting Android tablet ever since it came out last year. It's well-made and beautifully designed, has a screaming fast Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, and after an update it runs Android 4.0, a much-improved version of the operating system.- Fast
- reliable performance
- Tegra 3-optimized games are fantastic
- Great build quality
- Excellent battery life
- Android 4.0 still has some issues
- Keyboard dock is a little cramped
- Display isn't anything special
excellent little guy
everything feels good, camera isnt amazing, keyboard is tough, responsive and quiet, multitasking is actually like, incredible, performance in browser is strange, i hold delete on say, youtube search, and it goes spikey (just to delete some text?).
Review: Asus Transformer Pad (TF300T)
Asus has won us over with its Transformer design of tablets in the past, turning a tablet into a netbook with a 10.1 inch touchscreen slate connecting to a keyboard dock with built-in battery.- A quad-core processor with a good price
- Great battery life
- Screen is very glossy
- Hinge needs to be stronger
- Keyboard could be firmer
Asus Transformer Pad TF300
With its newest 10-inch tablet , the Transformer Pad TF300 ($379 list 16GB; $399, 32GB), Asus eschews major hardware and design upgrades, opting instead for incremental improvements and a more value-focused remix of an existing tablet.- Slightly dim screen
- Android still lacks an abundance of easy-to-find tablet-optimized apps
The design of the Transformer Pad 300 (TF300T) is in essence a cross between the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer (TF101) and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime (TF201). It has the same shapely curves as the latter but uses a plastic textured shell like the former.
Asus Transformer Pad 300
The Asus Transformer Pad 300 has been hotly anticipated since its announcement at MWC 2012, and for good reason. This is the lowest priced quad-core tablet we've seen, which goes big on value, something that's welcomed by double-dip recession hit wallets everywhere.- Powerful and versatile
- Seamless docking experience
- Great for gaming
- Top value
- Lacklustre screen
- Noticeable drop in build quality
- Buggy browser
- Bouncy keyboard
Asus Transformer Pad TF300
The camera is an 8MP model that produces sharp images, although we noticed an odd haze over some of them. There's lots of storage online, as well as the cloud storage.- Great detachable keyboard dock
- clear responsive touchscreen
- excellent Tegra 3 performance
- ideal for surfing the net
- Hazy snaps
ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 review: A competitively priced Android tablet that doesn't skimp on too many features
The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is arguably one of the best Android tablets on the market and ASUS has stuck with much of the same formula for its latest release, the Transformer Tab TF300.- Competitively priced
- Keyboard dock is a great add-on
- Good battery life
- Erratic performance/minor software issues
- Very top-heavy when docked
- Plastic back feels a little hollow
