If you've read this far, you will know by now that we were pretty impressed with the ASUS Transformer Pad. It performs well on all fronts, and is certainly a quality effort by its manufacturer.

ASUS Transformer Pad TF300 review
The second-gen Transformer is a clear improvement over the original, and is the best 10-inch, mid-range Android tablet you can buy right now.
Pros:
- Polished
- understated design
- Great graphics performance
- thanks to Tegra 3
- IPS display offers wide viewing angles
Cons:
- Some performance hiccups
- Battery life not as epic as on the Prime
- Optional keyboard dock scuffs easily
- still isn't that comfortable to type on

I got the Tf300 for my birthday and it worked perfectly for the first 3 weeks, but after that it slowed right down, even on "performance mode" and with nothing running in the background. I did a factory reset and it still runs slow. I actually returned it and got an iPad.
Pros:
- sturdy
- loud speaker
- good screen
Cons:
- extremely slow performance

Would not recommend
I own the Asus Transformer 32 gb TF 300 T- B1 and can't wait to get rid of it and replace with a tablet that works. It constantly reboots itself over and over. I tried tech support at Asus on several occasions and the only solution offered was to reset it.
Cons:
- Contantly Reboots Itself
- Unreliable

Best Android Tablet under $400
The 300T is without a doubt the best tablet for the money. For under 400 bucks you're getting 32 GB of on-board storage (expandable to 64 with a 32 GB micro-sd), a quad-core processor, the latest version of Android (4.0) and a better camera than other manufacturers' offerings in this price range.

Pathetic Service
No doubt the price is attractive and is one of the best value tablet in the market, after sales service is pathetic. First quality testing before shipping the products into the market is really poor. Whichever Asus product I bought had some defect in it.

I have begun to HATE this thing; tablets are primarily media consumption devices. Google and ASUS are among the biggest players in this market, so I should not have to 'hack' install software in order to play Youtube content (esp since Google owns YT).
Pros:
- Long battery life
- never any issues with connectivity
- very tough
Cons:
- Flashplayer issues since fall 2012
- laggy at times, bundled browser crash prone
- Entering data into web applications is 'iffy' due to random cursor behaviour

Asus Transformer Pad 300
Build quality quality could be better, but at £399 the Asus Transformer Pad 300 offers great value for money, tremendous performance, the ability to download apps, and all the features one would expect of a tablet, with extra laptop functionality.
