I brought this router 2 weeks ago and the performance and range has been amazing.

I recently got this to replace my D-Link Python which was constantly dropping out. What should have been a simple set up turned into a living nightmare and I was on the phone with my ISP for over an hour. That being said, the speed is amazing and it is extremely reliable and beautiful to look at once it is up and running. It was worth the money and trouble!

Look, I have to give it 5 stars, I haven’t even been able to connect to the router yet due to some ISP problems with modem/router connectivity but i have called up ASUS customer service and over and over again they have been nothing but helpful with trying to get my router up and going. The router settings are very advanced. You have so much room to manipulate your settings for how you would like them. I understand this isn’t a working router review but from the experience i have with ASUS and the router settings itself i can say that you won’t be let down, even if something goes wrong ASUS will make it right.

5g always cuts out along with the 2g cutting out every day at random times. I even returned mine and got another because I thought I just got a defective one but the same thing happened with the new one. I went back to netgear and haven't had issues since.

Recently upgraded our system with this modem/router. easy to install and setup as long as you have your ISP login information. Doubled our previous WiFi capability and also has connectivity for AI.mesh when need later. Robust product. well designed and thought through. Certainly an 8 out of 10 for design, easy of installation and use.

Router works well, but took a while to get it set up. Range is pretty good. No major complaints.

Great router, tricky to set up had to set the router to NZ instead of the US. After that was done it was fairly easy

Fantastic Router !! We were having issues with our ISP supplied router with the wifi cutting out while gaming and it had pitiful download speeds and a weak signal. Downloads have gone from 3-4 MBPS to 11-12 MBPS !!! We now have lower latency when both of us are gaming. We've streamed a few 4k youtube videos while playing online ( ESO, Siege ) and have not seen any changes in latency. We also now have wifi coverage in kitchen !! ( 87 sqm home ) Only negative was the setup was a bit fiddly. It wouldn't connect to the fiber box. Few hours of changing every setting known to man I had to contact the ISP for some number ive never heard of before...view more
