Before the 1080ti this card is beast! Love it - if the price comes down some more I'd be tempted to sli before upgrading as I'm still very happy with this purchase!

Max setting on everything no problem.
Was hesitant to go with the Asus since I've always gone with EVGA GPU's and have never been disappointed but so far I'm loving the card! Solid build, easily overclocks and whisper quiet. Also, it's cheaper than almost all the other 1080 cards. Definitely best bang for the buck in the 1080 series!
- $40 cheaper than the OC version; Install the software from Asus and it overclocks with one click; Had mine up to 2035mhz in about 2 minutes of trying - Runs very cool - fan has yet to get over 59% speed with the card never once going over 70 C - Quiet - cant hear it at all below 60% fan speed -...
- This card is seriously long - had to take out my hard drive racks in my mid size case to make it fit; Seriously, measure to make sure it fits in your case

- If given the choice, I should have passed this one for the little improvement it provided for my config. It may bring more significant improvements for others with different resolution but for me the improvement was not worth the money spent.
- I run all the games I can at 5760*1080 and it never goes under 30fps; - Reasonably priced for those in need of upgrade - Fans are not very loud, temps go as low as 38C in idle and less than 60C at max load; - You can set the colors of the backplate
- It was touted to provide more than 30% increase versus 2 980Ti in SLI but in reality I get maybe 10% improvement versus my 2 970 in SLI
Received it yesterday, from a friend who lives in the states and bought it for me, and the item is dead on arrival. does not output video signal on any of the ports. the card lights up, and the fans spin and everything sounds as it should, but i get no POST image nor video from within windows.
I've come from a Radeon 5870 so this is obviously a big jump but this card is amazing. By far the quietest card I've ever had (most of the time the fans don't even spin up!!!) and of course its fast (GTA V and Doom 2016 on max settings are both super smooth!
Asus has been a brand that I have counted on for almost 20 yrs and several builds that have powered my graphics cards and motherboards, so I decided to look into this card and then purchased it despite the negative reviews on the Egg, at $200 it was not a bad deal.
The RGB Aura has a nice look on the Republic of Gamers logos; Simple software to use and has plenty out of the box power; purchased it at a good price
Lacking on the Overclocking abilities; the bottom sighting is week; the software can be buggy
Super fast graphics card. Works nicely with Acer Predator 4K. I did have to get a display cable and burn the CD to a USB. Not sure why they even ship with a CD (not everyone has an optical drive). Is it worth the price Hell no. Trust me. It can't run 4K games at 60 FPS (you might need 2 in SLI).
Want to own the world's fastest GPU? Then don't beat around the bush, go out and buy yourself Nvidia's new flagship, the GeForce GTX 1080 . It should be as simple as that, yet the decision has been muddied somewhat by the introduction of a Founders Edition model that offers consumers a true...
Factory overclocked; FE-beating cooling capacity; Fans switch off at idle; Built like a tank; Customisable RGD LEDs; FanConnect is a good idea
Carries a hefty premium; Aura software needs work
