Astro Gaming's latest version of the A40 headset is unsurprisingly excellent. It's also unsurprisingly pricey. Once again I'm blown away with the quality and performance that Astro can deliver. The Astro A40 is one of my all time favourite headsets, but the TR upgrade, as well as the addition of the Mod Kit accessories, have taken an already fantastic product to new heights.

Something can be said about how Astro Gaming keeps taking it up a notch. The Astro Gaming A40s is an incredible pair of gaming headsets, and when you combine them with a Mixamp gaming magic happens.

-I bought the Astro A40 for pc and xbox one gaming. The current title of the product sounds like it is for pc, with the additional benefit of also working on xbox, but the package I was shipped said it was For Xbox One gaming.

This headset is really comfy to wear for extended periods and doesn't push my ears into my glasses too hard (my typical complaint against most headsets) -The sound quality is great too - definitely worth spending a little extra on

-Setup on xbox one can be a little confusing; and I'm still trying to figure out how to increase my own voice volume level - The two knobs control Master Volume and the other is for balancing between game volume and voice chat volume; but nothing for your own voice level..

First of all, I'd like to say that I am in no shape or form an expert when it comes to headsets. I've been through my fair share, but I still know very little about what makes a great headset. Typically, headsets that are comfortable and have good sound and mic quality do it just fine for me.

I have had Astro's since I was in high school and my old pair that are now eight years old are finally falling apart. So I went with this newer version of what I had, minus the mixamp.
