The Sims 3 may be almost four years old, but the expansion packs are still coming strong. Given that The Sims 2: University is such a fan favorite, I'm a little surprised EA waited until the ninth expansion to release The Sims 3 University Life, but better late than never, right?
At heart, The Sims franchise has always been a quirky twist on the theme of the management game and the latest expansion provides more variables than ever to add depth to the play experience.
The Sims, a god-like management title that has made EA Games pots of lovely cash over the years, has been overhauled, fixed, polished and waxed into a shiny new Lamborghini of a game that EA claims will not only appeal to its core fan base but also to the serious gamer.
The Sims has never been considered a hardcore game, and as such a lot of core gamers frown upon the franchise in a similar way to how they frown upon games like Farmville. Just like Farmville, however, The Sims is enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
My kid loves playing this game. I thought this was a good value for the starter pack, and she has very much enjoyed playing the game on our macbook pro. We had fun looking up "cheats" online too (to get unlimited simoleons, etc.) Fun stuff.
Good game to play to spend on your free time. I recommend the starter pack because it provides you with things you wouldn't normally get from just buying the game itself. Very addictive game and very fun. So many things to do and the customization is off the charts.
With The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition Pc Games you can take your gaming to a whole new level. This Deluxe edition comprises the Sims 3 and the popular expansion pack. This game lets you create Sims with distinctive personalities and features.
It seems all of the corporate changes for the Sims name have made it difficult to actually activate their key codes. We have been bounced between Origin, Simsonline, and EA on the various games purchased and still having some issues.
I got 2 of these when the price was £11.20 so was a Brilliant Buy when compared to the price for just the Sims 3 with no expansion packs. One was for myself, the other for my nephew's birthday present. Have to say that compared to the Sims 2, the game play is much better and has more features.
