Avast, Black Flag's seafaring open-world is the best Assassin's Creed yet

A BRASH REBEL ASSASSIN Become Edward Kenway, a charismatic yet brutal pirate captain, trained by Assassins. Edward can effortlessly switch between the Hidden Blade of the Assassin's Order and all new weaponry including four flintlock pistols and dual cutlass swords.

Assassin's Creed IV: Blackflag review

Quoting from Chris Nolan's ‘Batman Begins', Alfred, "Why do we fall, sir? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up." The above line sums up Assassin's Creed IV the best way possible. At a [...]

Assassin's Creed IV Review – Call me Kenway

There is no denying that this game is excellent. It will be even better on next generation platforms - AC IV simply outstrips the ability of current consoles. However, it is still a fantastic play and easily tops the list of best sandbox games you can get.

Game Review: Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag

Meet Edward Kenway, the son of AC3 's Haytham Kenway and the grandparent of Connor. Edward is a pirate that loves to be free, sail the seven seas and loves to live life by the pirate code. Deep down he is just a mere man, that just wants an easily (ish) life and to provide for his loved one.

A fresh uncomplicated & gripping story +Edward Kenway is likable & charismatic +Gameplay has been simplified for the better +Naval combat has also be improved +Huge open world +Tons of replay value +Beautiful Visuals

Running up the wrong wall/tree unintentionally can be very irritating; Still no crouch button

Review: Assassin's Creed IV Blackflag

The thing that makes Assassin's Creed games so unique is that each installment allows you to explore exciting places. To add to that, you get to go on an action packed adventure, except this time you are a pirate. For many this is the reason to come back to the dying franchise.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Xbox 360) Review

If you look at the themes of games these days, you can't turn around without tripping over a glut of zombie games. What the world could really use is some more games involving pirates. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is a great example of an excellent pirate game.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

I'm just going to come right out and say it -- It's time for Ubisoft to ditch the modern day Animus storyline in its Assassin's Creed franchise.

Best game since the second outing; Looks astonishing; Nice new direction; Huge replay value; Tightened mechanics

Annoying naval sections; Some undetected bugs
