Assassin's Creed 3

Connor's adventure is an excellent one. His story is methodical and meticulous, much like the land his people inhabit. A slow build-up may deter players, but plenty of memorable moments are worth sticking around for.

Assassin's Creed 3 review

Assassin's Creed was once a fascinating mystery wrapped around a fun action-adventure - remember when you first loaded up the original game and it began in the Abstergo offices and you had no idea what was going on?

Amazing, but might wanna hold back for a little while.

Swearing is my biggest concern. f*** and s*** and gd is used rarely but still is along with other mild language like hell. Beside violence, (Which might be intense for small kids), it's not bad.

Assassin's Creed 3 PC Technical Review

Introduction, setup, requirements Assassin's Creed 3 marks the fifth installment in the acclaimed stealth series, and is built on Ubisoft's AnvilNext engine. The new technology is said to allow for dynamic environments, thousands of NPCs, plus improved visuals and AI.

I enjoyed Connor's story immensely, even if I find him less engaging than Ezio and his plot more hand-holding than Altaïr's. It's a fun ride with ups and downs, but I was expecting a more streamlined experience.

Interesting narrative; great new multiplayer mode; naval combat and Templar forts are both great

Homestead is boring; Connor is not as likeable as Ezio; lack of verticality in environments

Assassin's Creed III – The Verdict

History is a funny thing. Napoleon said "History is a set of lies agreed upon." Easily misread, misunderstood or misinterpreted, it is written by the victors and those who do not remember it are condemned to repeat it.

Assassin's Creed III Review (PS3)

Playing as a murderous assassin, cloaked and mysterious, was instantly appealing. But Altaïr was difficult to relate to. Ezio was a step into the right direction in that sense, so much so that he earned a lead role in three separate games.

The setting is filled with history and heroes; Combat is better than ever; feeling almost scripted; Animations are flawless and varied; Connor serves as the perfect main character; Hunting and trade at the Homestead; So many side-missions; over 20 hours; maybe double that; Story is compelling.

Desmond missions are distracting; Free run can be a pain in the ass during chase scenes

Assassin’s Creed III Review

You'll know about Desmond Miles, the modern day son of the Assassin Order and hopeful savior of the world. Like us, Desmond's apocalypse is pending. Having the developers tie themselves to the Mayan calendar puts a definite conclusion on the line.

Challenging; Complex; New combat system; Amazing weather effects; Questions answered for long-time fans; Stabbing people online; Stabbing people online together
