If this is the first time you've played an Assassin's Creed game, prepare to be confused. The series is notorious for its dense, complex mythology and the third game throws you in at the deep end.

Is the new series evolution prepared for the revolution? Ezio, we loved you. If I could, I'd like to spend even longer rooting around your past. However, the Templars are fast approaching and the players are demanding a new character take your spotlight.
Stunning world to explore; TONS to do; A new array of abilities and gadgets that will have even veterans scratching their heads
Some exceptionally tedious missions mar the story; Occasional glitches that force players to boot up the game again; Frequent graphical glitces
Welcome to recap city population you; Desmond did a bunch of stuff including sitting in a chair and then walking about a bit, maybe a bit of climbing and very little stabbing but hey that could change in the all new faffing-about creed.
Great game play; engaging story; Great characters; Amazing Naval adventure
Horse physics are little annoying; needs more naval mission
Great game read a few reviews that were a bit scathing but my advice is to try it especially for the price at present. Great variation and historical.
Graphics; Quality Construction; Great Value; Online Play,
I wanted to catch up on Assassins creed saga after not playing for a few years wasn't sure whether playing these two was significant important to the storyline WHICH IT TURNED OUT TO BE..
Assassin's Creed: Essentials is one of the best franchises of this generation, and the first Assassin's creed is rich with history, nice graphics and great game play. I recommend it to everyone who like adventure games.
I bought this game second hand for 8 pounds a week ago. This is a great game as it steps out of the assassin we had got used to and brings out a whole new set of characters. First you start of as a Templar from England who sails to Boston to try and find one of the pieces of Eden but after about...
I've played the first Assassin's Creed on my PC and the rest of sequels on my PS3 until now. Firs of all if you get the PC version you will get all the exclusive single-player missions that includes what are exclusive to PS3 as well.
Ubisoft heads back into the Animus to give us the third chapter in the Assassin's Creed saga. Casting away the suave-talking Ezio, a new hero steps into the cerebral lobe of Desmonds' ancestral dreams.
Love the new setting; American Revolution for the win, New gampleay entries; Tree running and naval battles are pulled off flawlessly, Although filled with melodrama, the narrative is interesting and constantly evolving, Multiplayer still holds our interest, Improved combat that is much more...
Talk about your slow starts, this one is a snooze-fest, Can't sustain the "magical" feeling that came with the first two entries, Not all missions stand-out; At times you're just going through the motions, While involved, the "Homestead" feels superficial
Assassins Creed 3 has been hyped as the best of the series, but it really is quite far from it. I have put about 6 hours into it thus far and have yet to do anything related to what the game title suggests.
