Bought the Aspera F42 to replace an Aspera F28 for an elderly family member. Unfortunately, this phone is NOT suitable for seniors as it is much more difficult to operate and does not have the dedicated buttons for calling favourite contacts that the F28 had. It is much more difficult to set up and operate and could not be used by the elderly family member. Also, due to some glitch it did not retain favourites settings when set using the instructions in the manual, we had to contact Aspera helpdesk to get alternative instructions to make this work. Buy this phone only for a tech savvy user...

Bought this for my mum and not sure how this is aimed at oldies. The menu and fonts are too small and there is no emergency button. It's very plastic and feels more like a toy than a working phone. Am now looking for a replacement.

Horrible phone to operate i got it for my mother its a very confusing phone to use the screen is hard to see it gets very poor reception so i got a Nokia so much easier to use and gets full reception Nokia 225 4 G

Horrible for elderly. Not simple at all. Menu options after menu options just to make a phone call. So confunsing. Stay away from for your elderly parents. Very disappointing

I bought this phone for my elderly mother to use but it is as far from user friendly as a phone can get. Even making a simple call requires too many key presses, and don't try to compose a message as there is no way to erase what you have typed. The battery life is also very ordinary and only lasts 24 hours, which for a non-smartphone is totally unacceptable. Save your money and look for something more suitable. This phone is garbage.
