Great game but very disappointed to find out this version ...

Great game but very disappointed to find out this version only contains a fraction of the levels and missions you can do. You need to get the Taken King version to play all of them. You will quickly finish this version.

Destiny review

Destiny is already the biggest launch of a new property in the history of games, but can it possibly live up to the very high expectations we have for it Siobhan Keogh has the verdict.

Beautiful graphics; Solid mechanics; Plenty of gear to toy around with, and some challenging gameplay and smart design that is hugely satisfying to overcome; Amazing music

Combat and mission structure in story missions is highly predictable

"Broken Promises"

Not the golden MMO shooter everyone said it was going to be, but still a great multiplayer shooter!

Great overall game play and story line.

I am a year 1 destiny beta play and still love D1. It was a great game from PVE to PVP. There was always something to work towards or do, even now when destiny 2s forsaken is getting ready to drop.

Destiny review: Final verdict on most expensive video game ever made is a disappointing lack of ambition

It's not short of spectacle but in terms of innovation and variety this is nowhere near as forward-thinking as Bungie would like to pretend.

The gunplay and loot design is expertly crafted to keep you playing; Fantastic art design and music, with some stunning visuals; Mountains of content and great co-op

Repetitive enemies, non-existent set pieces, and terrible bosses; No new ideas and overly simplistic role-playing and customisation elements; Almost zero plot

Destiny: House of Wolves

There's two pertinent questions to ask when considering the second DLC expansion for Destiny, House of Wolves. The first: is it better than the first expansion, The Dark Below The second: is it good in its own right The answers: yes and yes (mostly).

Destiny: House Of Wolves Review

In the end, Destiny's second expansion with House Of Wolves manages to fix and mend a lot of issues players had with the game prior to its release. However, by doing so it seems to wrap it up in a nice bow to the point that it may be a little too easy to reach max level.

Destiny: House of Wolves Review

Destiny is a deeply flawed experience, and yet I've spent nearly 50 hours with the game. It's a fundamentally sound shooter, and one that plays well with others. Everything around that core shooting experience brings the game down though. There's simply too much grinding and not enough content.

Prison of Elders mode is great; New equipment system means less grinding; Trials of Osiris looks to put a cool spin on PvP

Prison of Elders mode is great; No raid; New social area is very small; Trials of Osiris looks to put a cool spin on PvP

Destiny feels like it wasn't ready, but it was shipped anyway. It tantalizes with glimpses of brilliance, but then confounds with clunky design decisions and baffling oversights. Hopefully future updates will fix these, and Destiny will realize its full potential.
