Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel

Great: Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel is the series' third entry and its first on the PS3. As expected, the game has received a complete visual overhaul, ditching the low-res 2D sprites for beautiful, new 3D characters.

(PlayStation 3 Review) Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel

In the end, Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel isn't a bad game, just a disappointing one. Gust has done much better work in the past, and for the last of a series that's hit cult status, it's a shame that they seem content with delivering a so-so adventure rather than the grand finale the series...

Ar Tonelico Qoga (PS3) Review

If you are in the mood for a solid JRPG that is weird and different, Ar Tonelico Qoga is a good pickup. The story might be confusing, but it is also a pretty good tale that touches on your emotions.

Ar Tonelico Qoga

Just by reading the title 'Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel' you should be able to tell that a North American localization did its part providing a little fan series for the import deprived.

depending on your expectation; combat has been changed; aside from the combat; the experience is kept close to the other games; a certain level of charm; filled with "adult" content

for fans of the series/JRPG fans only; if you're looking for turn-based combat; you wont find it here; localization is what you expected; and that's not always a good thing; objectives aren't always clear; underperforming on the PS3; its time for a graphical boost; thanks

"Ar Tonelico Qoga - A decent RPG but you'll feel dirty afterwards"

Ar Tonelico Qoga is the third game in Gust's Ar Tonelico series, based around a fictional world where humanity and an species of artificial lifeforms called Reyvatails (who can use magic in the form of song) on towers suspended above the planet, which is now uninhabitable.

Kinda fun to play; music is good

Purging; graphics

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel Review

The Ar tonelico series is about as quirky as they come. These games have put a spin on the traditional JRPG unlike any other, with a unique party composition, innuendo-laden dialogue, and a direct approach to plot progression.

Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me

Back in 2009, RPGamers were in an uproar over the localization errors that appeared in Ar tonelico II: Melody of Metafalica . There were massive game breaking bugs, scripting errors, you name it.

PS3 Review – Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel

+ Conversation system provides good character depth; + Story does a good job of balancing comedy and drama
