Apple iPhone 6 Plus (Unlocked)

Half a year after its arrival, it's clear the effect the iPhone 6 Plus has had: It's not just a smartphone , it's the iPad Mini Mini. Yes, some people use the 6 Plus as a large iPhone; it's especially favored for its long battery life.

Works on all four U.S; networks; Excellent camera, especially in low light; Premium feel; Terrific third-party apps

It's really big; especially if you're coming from an older iPhone

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Smartphone Review

It is unusually big, but still an iPhone. We miss the familiar perfection of Apple in the case of the iPhone 6 Plus. The poor stability of the case is just one issue. You should not be able to twist the case when you buy a device that can cost up to 1,000 Euros (~$1250).

Great display; Very good battery runtimes; Great GPS module; Great performance; Decent camera; Very good voice quality; Good headphones; The display; the fast performance and the great GPS module collect a lot of points

NFC can only be used for Apple Pay, Complicated one-hand use, Flash overexposes pictures, Storage cannot be expanded, No LTE Cat; 6, Power adaptor too weak, Price, Mediocre case stability, OIS makes it hard to use the iPhone on a tripod, More stability! For the chassis, the OIS and the software

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

If you've avoided previous iPhones because of their diminutive stature, take another look. The iPhone 6 Plus feels smoother than any other phone, sports a top-notch camera, and has the best app selection.

Industry-leading design; build quality; Reachability feature makes size manageable; Fantastic camera; iOS 8 remains a fluid; beautiful OS; Large battery

16GB storage on base model is not enough; Large size is too big for some hands; Specs aren't much better than iPhone 5S; No water resistance

Review: Apple iPhone 6 Plus

Here's the best way to start an iPhone review: Goddamn do I love Android. I love its flexibility and efficiency. I love the way it bends to my will. And I've spent the past couple years loving that I can get a phone that isn't made for someone with doll hands .

Excellent camera quality produces amazing images; Almost impossible to shoot blurry video, even of uncooperative toddlers; Battery life will keep you going all day and well into the night; Glorious, vivid, roomy display will make you want to throw out your iPad.

You call these widgets, iOS 8? I want to be able to read my email right on my home screen; It scratches; It bends

iPhone 6 Plus review: oversized and undercooked

In the end, the iPhone 6 Plus is exactly what we imagined it would be – an oversized iPhone. And while Apple did little to take advantage of that extra space, it made up for it in other areas, like the speaker quality, battery life, and even performance.

Fantastic build quality and in-hand feel; Above average camera performance;  Third-party support in iOS is refreshing;  Incredible battery life that should carry most into a second day;  iPhone app/accessory ecosystem still the strongest of all platforms

iOS 8 comes with bugs and missing promised features;  Call quality took a backseat this year;  The slick build might prompt users to always use a case

OVER-RATED PIECE OF CRAP

I've owned a lot of Android phones and two iPhone 6s. I am also responsible for my daughters' iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. ALL iPHONES ARE ALL PIECES OF JUNK. My Android phones had a few minor issues here and there, but nothing like the iPhones running iOS 7 and 8.

sleek; good looks

bug-ridden OS; Apple holier-than-thou service; expensive

iPhone 6 Plus review

But using a smartphone with a huge screen, like the iPhone 6 Plus, forces you to constantly consider the size of your hands.

Beautiful display; Terrific camera; Great battery life

Probably needs a case; iOS can be glitchy; Apps need to be updated to take better advantage of the display; Seriously; what is this paste icon on the landscape keyboard

That Apple makes superlative smartphones is nothing new; the Cupertino-based company has set the gold standard for mobile design ever since it debuted the iPhone in 2007. But in the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple is walking a path it's never trodden before.

This is the most capable iPhone ever made; It blew away the competition in our benchmark tests, its battery lasts forever, and its camera sets a new standard for excellence

Thanks to a thick bezel; the phone is bigger than other devices with comparable; 5.5-inch screens.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus review: Following the curve

Apple caved to market pressure and created a phablet. This may sound as blasphemy but it's not the first time Cupertino is seen reacting to rivals getting too confident, too aggressive - too close for comfort.

Metal unibody, 7.1mm slim, 172g of weight, LTE connectivity (Cat. 4, 150Mbps downlink, 5.5" 1,080 x 1,920 LED-backlit IPS LCD with 401 ppi pixel density, Apple iOS 8; iPad-like split-screen functionality, Dual-core 1.4 GHz Apple A8 chipset, M8 motion co-processor, PowerVR GX6450 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP...

Hard to use single-handedly; unimpressive screen to body ratio (6" Androids fit in the same footprint; No microSD slot; Pricey memory upgrades; 32GB version should be standard for such an expensive phone; No user-replaceable battery; Protruding camera lens makes the phone wobble if you don't have a...

iPhone 6 Plus Review: The First Truly Well-Designed Big Smartphone

The iPhone 6 is still the best smartphone for your money in my opinion, owing mostly to the fact that the majority of people are going to feel most comfortable using a smaller device as their daily companion of choice.

Larger screen is great for productivity and media consumption; Battery and camera noticeably better than iPhone 6

Not a one-handed device for most; Priced above even the usual premium segment
