Apple iPad Mini Review

Let's face it: Right now, the iPad is synonymous with "tablet." There are dozens of other Android and Windows 8 tablets on the market, but by and large, when people think about a tablet or desire a tablet, what they really want is an iPad.

Apple iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular (AT&T) Review

If there's one tablet that's tailor made for built-in 4G, it's the iPad mini. This tablet is lighter and thinner than most 7-inch budget slates, yet packs a larger 7.9-inch screen for enjoying all of your apps, not to mention a full web experience, on the go.

Apple iPad mini (Wi-Fi)

How much are apps worth to you? How about $120? If you want those iPad-exclusive apps and price is no object, then no other small-screen tablet will do. Beautifully made, slim, and light, the iPad mini ($329/16GB, $429/32GB, $529/64GB direct) packs precisely the power of an iPad 2 into a tablet...

Expensive; Wide.

- Extremely well made and designed - Thin and light - Larger; more useful display area than the 7-inch Android competition - Great for content consumption and gaming on the go - Unbeatable tablet app selection

- Lower resolution than the Android competition - Non-resolution independent UI results in more zooming in on text - Less practical as an all-purpose device against the larger iPad

Apple iPad mini

The iPad mini's a beautiful size, and a beautiful package the puts the production rivals of all its seven inch rivals to shame: Asus will really have to up its game for its Nexus 7 follow up.

Despite what Steve Jobs so vehemently declared, has just released a smaller version of the iPad.  Well, I guess technically Steve said Apple would never release a 7″ tablet, and the iPad mini is a 7.9″ tablet, so Apple didn't quite make a liar out of him.

Very small and light; Compatible with all iPad apps; Sturdy and well-built; Small enough to fit in a pocket; but big enough to comfortably read; Cheaper than previous versions of the iPad; Two speakers for better; louder sound

Doesn't have a Retina display; Smart Cover for the mini costs as much as the original Smart Cover

Review Apple iPad Mini Tablet

Apple enters new territory with its iPad Mini and its 7.9-inch screen . A successful start. The choice of materials, the feel and workmanship fulfill the expected premium claim despite the low price. The low total weight combined with a thin aluminum chassis sets standards.

Workmanship; feel; choice of materials and stability; Light and compact; State-of-the-art wireless technologies; Extensive range of accessories; Excellent touchscreen & pleasant keyboard; The IPS screen's good rates; Outdoor use made possible by high luminosity; Good application and graphics...

Case susceptible for fingerprints; Limited connectivity; Subsequent memory expansion not possible; EUR 140 extra for 3G or LTE; Screen only supports 1024 x 768 pixels; Current movies only with black bars due to the 4:3 format; Only 12 month warranty ex-factory; Suboptimal positioning of the stereo...

iPad mini Review

Battery Life The iPad mini, like the iPhone 5 and 4th generation Retina iPad has the new 8 pin Lightning connector rather than the old 30 pin dock connector. You can still use old chargers and analog audio accessories if you purchase Apple's Lightning to 30 pin adapter.

Apple iPad mini (Wi-Fi)

The iPad mini lets you run the best library of apps in the biz on a tablet you'll actually want to carry, but it's not the best small-screen tablet you can buy.

Apple iPad mini review: One for the road

Wait, did hell just freeze over? Maybe a couple of degrees cooler? Rumors of a mini version of the iPad had been laughed at, dodged and denied - not necessarily in that order and often all at once.
