Works exactly as it is supposed to.. I have discovered that an iPad will only see photos on an SD card that has been formatted within a camera (In my case a Sony A57). The Ipad software doesn't recognize photos that are just stored on a non-camera formatted card, even if you make a DCIM folder.

Works perfectly as advertised. At the time of this writing, only works with iPads, not iPhones (which would be nice, but not what I bought it for).

I bought my Apple Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader last month. I found it really easy to put my memory card from my camera into the attachment and download my photos.

I bought it to use for my camera sd card to transfer photos and videos to my laptop and mobile phone as well

Needed to transfer photos from a SD card on my camera to my iPad and this did the job perfectly. Might be slightly on the expensive side but did what is was supposed to do.
