Vent de Folie is a rose diluted with enough sheer green notes that it smells abstract. The press release promises sweet peas; I smell peonies, but frankly, it's just a wallflower.

My first thought at the top note: "Grandma vanilla". There's something musty and flowery very early on that smells like an old theatre props box. Over time, Vanilla Exquise becomes drier, but too scratchy and burnt for my taste. A little church and incense, but not as strong as "Un Bois Vanille".

Useful for situations where you are going to put it on several times a day anyway eg on summer holidays. Beautiful fragrance but even the Eau de Parfum only lasts about 3 hours.

Very well packaged. I've worn this scent for a number of years.. Before you could but it in any other country other than France. It's great to be able to buy this perfume here and know it's genuine.

I bought this last year while in Paris and haven't used anything else since. It's unique and different so I don't smell like everyone else but at the same time makes me feel fresh and wonderful, even on the hotest days in summer. I only wish I could find the body lotion.
