"Angry Birds" has become such a cultural phenomenon that its popularity has extended well beyond a mere video game. Kids will soon dress up as " Angry Birds " characters for Halloween. There is as much "AB" merchandise as for nearly any Disney movie in the last ten years. There's even a TV special .

The Angry Birds have arrived on the PSN in the form of a mini. Is this a bad port of the iPhone game, or a Mini worth dropping some cash on? Let's take a look.

Sure birds are generally cute and harmless…but don't make them angry. You wouldn't like them when they're angry. Angry Birds is a brilliantly absurd gaming experience. Who would have thought that combining cantankerous chickens, lime green pigs, and a giant slingshot could be so much fun?

We love Angry Birds from the IPad. The PS3 version takes to a different level. Very playable, young or old. Shame there is not a 2 player mode (or if there is, I haven't found it).

The allegedly green pigs are tired of eating grass and the birds just so happen to be busy destroying a mosquito that had the audacity to land on one of their not-at-all-grass-like eggs. Now's the pigs' chance to eat something that isn't grass!

We see why Angry Birds has become so popular. The simple control scheme makes it a perfect pick-up-and-play title, while the clever puzzles and level design as well as the amusing art-style and surreal birds vs.
