Amazon Fire TV Stick (2020) and Fire TV Stick Lite review: Exactly what you expected

Solid HD streaming performance for the money; Makes Amazon Prime content easy to find; Voice commands are useful for media playback and smart home control; Solid HD streaming performance for the money; Makes Amazon Prime content easy to find; Voice commands are useful for media playback and smart home control;

Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite review

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite is a new HD streamer for 2020, packing in HDR support and 60fps playback for a competent streaming experience. For its low price, though, you will be sacrificing 4K resolution as well as some TV and volume controls we're loath to give up if we can help it.

HDR support; Good value; 60fps playback;

Persistent ads; Only HD streaming; No volume controls on remote

Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K, the 'media streamer to beat,' drops to $35

Adds UHD HDR playback, but Amazon’s streamer only has a clear advantage over 4K smart TVs when used with an Echo device

Cheap; 4K HDR support; Alexa voice control works well;

Can’t be powered by some TVs; No access to Now TV;

Amazon Fire TV Stick review: The best affordable media player?

You really can't go wrong with the Amazon Fire TV Stick. It fuses together ease of use with all the essential content in a package that gives you a big bang for your buck.

Quick at accessing content; Great contextual text and voice search using Alexa; Good picture quality; Excellent app integration and availability; Doesn't require an Amazon Echo to work;

Few TV USBs will power it so you need to use the adapter; Many smart TVs offer access to all these apps and services anyway (minus the Alexa voice control);

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K review: Superbly priced Prime streamer

The value of Amazon's 4K device can’t be questioned compared to its rivals, making this a great access point to streaming services beyond just Amazon's own Prime portal, including Netflix and more. Many shows are now in 4K HDR, too, so a compatible TV set will bring that content to life with greater resolution and pop than ever before.

Ideal hub for 4K HDR content - including Amazon Prime / Netflix / more; Simple plug-in design; Supports Dolby Vision / HDR / HDR10+ / Dolby Atmos;

Ocassional connection issues require a reset; Fat design can clash with other HDMI ports;

Amazon Fire TV Stick - Basic Edition B01ETRGDV4 review

They might be subtle improvements, but the new Amazon Fire Stick is all the better for having them

Faster and more stable; Alexa voice commands work well; Much-improved interface; Well priced

Aimed heavily at Prime users; Some Alexa results could be better

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K review

Put simply, the Fire TV Stick 4K is a bargain. For very little money you can stream 4K HDR content to your TV no matter which standard it supports. Alexa and the new remote are the icing on the cake.
