When everyone thinks of making a videogame based upon the Alien franchise, most dream of one based upon the Colonial Marines from Aliens. I believe that this game is being over-critisized. I have completed the game and although there are some flaws it was a great time. I'm a big Alien movie fan and this game does capture much of that joy. You really do feel at times that you are a character in a movie being hunted.

Deep, intelligent, intense, and utterly unlike any experience before it, Alien: Isolation presents all that's truly great about AAA, and also its evolution.

While it has a few rough patches and may prove too slow and drawn-out for some players, Isolation does an amazing job of capturing the essence of a classic film and recasting it as a video game.

To start off I would like to say that I'm not a hardcore Alien fan, so this review won't be biased towards loving it. I would also like to say that I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this game after the massive disappointment that was Colonial Marines.

First let me say that this aliens game is much better than the last one, anyway this game is scary indeed, being hunted by an alien with no way to kill it, hiding under tables and lockers when you hear it coming, though my problem with this game is that the aliens seems a bit overpowered but apart...
