Acer Iconia W510
The detachable-screen hybrid Windows 8 laptop feels like a check box that nearly every PC maker needs to hit for 2013. None of the variations on this theme is as elegant as the best clamshell or convertible laptops, and some of the prices we've seen will be hard for consumers to swallow.
Pros:
- Less expensive than some other Atom-based hybrids
- Detachable tablet screen is light and portable
- Battery life is excellent
Cons:
- System is awkwardly top-heavy in laptop mode
- Puny keyboard and touch pad not designed for serious use

Acer Iconia W510 – Acer combines the best of three worlds in one package
Thankfully, Acer knows its stuff and did not skip on the important part – internal hardware. Everything is very decent when it comes to that, with the Iconia W510 packing a 10.1 inch display with a 1366×768 resolution, an Intel Atom Z2760 dual core processor running at 1.8 GHz and featuring Intel's...

Small yet useful device
This device is small, thin and powerful. It is lighter than my iPad 1 and can run the full Windows 8 not RT so this means it can run any desktop apps. One thing you need to do right away is update the software as video playback and sound was flaky and desktop was laggy.

Acer Iconia Tab W510 review
It might not be quite as cheap as the most affordable Windows RT tablets but Acer is definitely aiming for thinner wallets with this Windows 8-powered hybrid. Bought without the keyboard it'll set you back around $700 putting it right in line with Apple's iPad 4 and other Windows RT devices with the...
Pros:
- Fantastic battery life very portable solid performance
Cons:
- Not a lot of storage screen bounces when docked no GPS

Verdict: The Acer Iconia W5 is a shockingly robust lappitablet. It's comes with a great battery life, a class-leading screen, USB 2.0, an excellent optional keyboard and much more. It's a great device for daily use thanks to its instant-on startup and HD-streaming capabilities.

A great everyday use Tablet...
I have really enjoyed the slim and lightweight design of this system. Not as powerful as it's predecessor the W500 and I really wish they had not done away with the Keyboard but still worth the money. Just be aware of the limited Storage space. Overall I am satisfied with it.
