Acer Iconia W510 review
Acer's Iconia W510 works just fine as a standalone Windows 8 tablet, but comes with a slimline keyboard with secure docking system for those times when you need a bit more -- and that's where the problems start. It's on sale now for around £500.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- decent price
- solid docking hinge
- good battery life
Cons:
- Slow processor
- doesn't balance very well in dock

Acer Iconia W510
With an available keyboard dock, Windows Pro 8, a 10.1-inch display and a dual-core Intel Atom processor, the Acer Iconia W510 is a decent tablet hybrid. The display supports native Windows 8 touch inputs and gestures to make it easy to use in tablet mode and make the most of the new Metro...

Acer W510 tablet
My friend gave me this tablet as a gift. It's fairly quick and the battery lasts a very long time. It is longer and narrower than my iPad, which I like. It's slightly heavier than I expected, but I like it, it feels sturdier.

I purchased my Iconia W5 in the actual Wal-Mart store on 09/19/2013. Mine cost $478 and was regularly $498. The only difference between mine and this one is that my W5 has 32GB SSD instead of this one having 64GB SSD. I use my W5 for work, school and play.

review and overall impressions
so i've had this tablet for quite a few months now and have been putting it through its paces and here are my thoughts... I initially bought this for its form factor i.e. having a full blown OS that is portable.

The Acer Iconia W510, though a decent machine, is powered by a dying line of processors and is not quite suitable priced for its specifications. There are better options available in the market in terms of design and build in much the same pric e range.

Quick review - Acer Iconia W510
The Acer W510 offers a keyboard dock which you simply click the tablet into. Although made from plastic, the keyboard comes across as well designed. One thing to remember is, since this is a 10.1" tablet, the keyboard's size is a lot smaller than you might be used to working on with a regular...
