It has a better screen than the iPad 2 and it costs half the price. It has a USB port and a SD slot to add memory. It's responsive... except for some pdfs which seam to be slower than on an iPad no matter what program I install..
Pros:
- Half the price of an iPad
Cons:
- Updates are coming in slow

J'adore cette tablette. Sa prise en main sa fait rapidement, ses caractéristiques font de cette tablette un excellent rapport qualité prix. Elle se met a jour facilement sur Android ice cream sandwich 4.0.3.

i lykd it alooottt and d features are awesome..!!!and i did not expect d flash on d tablet but its there i jus loved it a looot

well built 10" tablet by acer
The a500 is Acer main 10" honeycomb offering. Fairly Responsive to touch, most apps run great. Over all well done, strong allumin backplate, bright screen with good color(not ips great) great black level.

Great tablet for the price!
This is a great multi-purpose tablet. Materials and finishing are stylish and good quality. The buttons, rocker and ports work flawless and increase the usability and versatility of the tablet. Most main stream apps like Body, Evernote, Netflix, Chrome, USA Today, WSJ, etc will work ok.

Kanon plate! Can handle most things you stick in the USB port. Wireless key board and mouse, memory card reader, 3G modems, cameras, KVM switch, USB hubs, etc.. Kanonplatta! Klarar av det mesta man stoppar in i USB-porten.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 10in Android tablet
Acer has produced a fine product with the Iconia Tab A500. Its performance closely matches that of the Motorola Xoom but it is lighter, offers more connectivity and has a working microSD slot to expand the storage capacity.

"Acer A500 - Fantastic product"
I'd been toying with the idea of buying a tablet PC for some time, as my old laptop had seen better days. I'd spent hours playing with ipads and various other tablets before I came across the Acer A500. My initial thought was that an Acer product would be inferior to other "Name Brands".
Pros:
- ease of use
- look & feel
- speed
- durability
Cons:
- video playback not the best
