Technoodling reviews the Acer Iconia Tab A500: A good first effort
Android tablets are a dime a dozen these days; a wide range of manufacturers from all over, such as HTC and Samsung, are either readying their own or have one or more out already. That's a lot of jostling for attention – moreover, it's taking place at a time when Apple's iPad is currently ruling the...

- The USB and HDMI ports and microSD slot (take that
- iPad

Android Tablet Review: Acer Iconia Tab A500
For me it is a toss-up between this and an ASUS on which to get. They are both nice (I have yet to review an Asus, my opinion could change). Iconia Tab A500

Pros:
- Surprisingly good LCD screen and speakers
- Speedy Tegra 2 chip
- Full-size USB port for expanded connectivity
Cons:
- Sub-par battery life
- Poor cameras and minor build issues
- Very little native software available

Reviewed: Acer Iconia A500 tablet
Over the past few months, we've bene cautiously optimistic about Android tablets, generally saying that while we didn't mind them, we were definitely waiting for Honeycomb (Android 3.0) to arrive before we got too excited.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 Review
The new Acer Iconia Tab A500 is one a slew of Android devices aiming to find its niche in a world currently dominated by the Apple iPad 2. What sets the Iconia Tab apart from its competition is primarily its price - cheaper than the iPad 2.
