Acer Aspire S7 review: the gold standard for ultrabooks
Designed for Windows 8, the Acer Aspire S7 boasts a touchscreen and is sheathed in a super thin and sleek aluminum unibody chassis. Replete with a shockingly thin display, the 13.3-inch Acer Aspire S7 also benefits from tough, durable Gorilla 2 on the back. The interesting thing about this is...
Pros:
- Good performance Excellent battery life High-res touch screen...
Cons:
- Expensive Lackluster touch...

Battery Life & Price not work getting
I got this laptop after 6 months or more in research and after trying it out for a few days, I would have to say, the price is not worth the laptop. Its a nice laptop but the battery barely lasts 3 hours; that's with very light running.

Fans produce 50db
Scroll the page, change the internet tab and your cpu is immediately under load and you get an airplane. It has got 2 fans running at 10K rpm and they do need to run that fast as the heat-sink is probably non-existent given this thin profile in the back. Beside that, keys have absolutely no travel.

Cumbersome with no memory
This is the worst laptop I've ever owned. The interface is inconsistent, the display is too small or too smashed, the touchpad and touchscreen and mouse cant decide who is in charge. I haven't added any programs and the memory is almost gone. What a waste of money.
Pros:
- small size
Cons:
- everything else

Acer Aspire S7 Review: This Is How Windows 8 Should Feel…Almost
We've been playing with Windows 8 for a while now - but not yet on a machine designed from the start to run on the new OS. Next week, when Acer's Aspire S7 ultrabook launches, all that will change. Is this 11-inch wisp of a laptop a worthy debut for Windows 8?

Acer Aspire S7
Tweet Alongside the release of Windows 8 , Acer has introduced a few new devices that have done much to turn heads. Its new Aspire S7 ultrabook certainly made us do a double take. As far as design, the S7 is, at least in our opinion, one of this year's hottest ultrabooks and maybe even the best...
Pros:
- Excellent design
- gorgeous touchscreen
- solid keyboard full
- SSD
Cons:
- Very expensive touchpad is finicky
- battery life at about 4 hours should be much better

Acer Aspire S7-391 review
All in all, the S7-391 is a nice laptop to use and show off. It would be nice to have an 8GB option and better battery life, but neither is essential for the vast majority of users. The design and overall usability are top notch.

Acer Aspire S7 Windows 8 Ultrabook
Introduction Of all of the bits of review kit that I've had the pleasure of using, the Acer Aspire S7 is the one that has gathered me the most questions and comments.

A gorgeous piece of technology, performs well, but you're paying a serious premium for the design and build. Acer's Aspire S7 is a visually stunning Windows 8 Ultrabook.

Review Acer Aspire S7-191 Ultrabook
The Core i7-3517U inside our Acer Aspire S7 is the standard Ivy Bridge CPU in most expensive ultrabooks. This energy-efficient ULV processor from Intel is the second fastest of its kind with a TDP of only 17 W.
