Acer Aspire S7 review Review
The Aspire S7 combines a super-slim, attractive design with a good touchscreen to help get the best out of Windows 8. Its Core i7 processor provides a decent performance, but it's not the powerhouse you'd hope it would be for the price.
Pros:
- Extremely slim
- Attractive white design
- Touchscreen for Windows 8
- Full HD display
- Capacious hard drive
Cons:
- Expensive
- Not fantastic performance for the money
- Trackpad isn't very responsive

Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook review

- included leather envelope carry case
- backlit keys
- loads fast
Cons:
- Too expensive

- shallow key presses
- key backlighting isn't uniform

Review: Acer S7
When Intel first launched its Ultrabook branding last year it was met with a handful of different models from the major PC manufacturers. In the wake of Windows 8 we are going to see this trickle turn into a flood, as the number and diversity of Ultrabook designs swells with features designed to...

Acer Aspire S7-391-9886
Though the Acer Aspire S7-391-9886 is a very good choice for the "money is no object" buyer, some quirks and a brief battery life keep this ultrabook from earning our highest honors.

stylish, pricey, disappointing
I really needed a new laptop for work, I also really wanted a 1080p screen, ultrabook, and will not buy an apple product (that's a whole other story), so this was my best option. If you do not need it right away, I would wait for things to improve especially with Windows 8 compatibility.
Pros:
- Beautiful and stylish, light weight
- Touchscreen, windows 8* (also a con), great 1080p display
Cons:
- Several disappointments
- battery seems like it lasts only around 4 hrs web browsing at 1/2 brightness
- touchpad is only a few steps above horrendous (that distinction is for the Asus Zenbook Prime touchpad which was so bad I had to return the laptop for this one
- for example typing an email every

The Acer Aspire S7 has lots going for it: Windows 8 on a touchscreen works a treat, and its design is all its own. But in a world where a similarly sized MacBook Air costs as little as £850, there seems little point in bothering with rivals priced well above £1,000.
Pros:
- We won't name names, but some Windows Ultrabook makers have completely ripped off Apple's design (Oh go on then: we mean you, Asus)
- The Aspire S7 doesn't suffer from this: it may be thin and light with a tapering chassis, but its metal frame and white lacquered top give it its own unique style, and...
Cons:
- While we like the design of the Acer Aspire S7, we're a bit baffled by some of the nonsense Acer's scrawled on it around the keyboard
- We doubt you'll feel the need to be constantly reminded that it's been "Professionally Tuned", or that the sound has been "Dolby Home Theater"-ified, But that's a...

Acer Aspire S7 review
Looks great, but it has poor keyboard and battery life

It looks much better than it is actually. It is stupid that is terribly.
This product was recommended me by friend as a light and presentable ultrabook, which is comfortable for traveling. I liked its design and weight but when I was dealing with it I disappointed seriously. The battery works just 4 hours, while it was written - to 6.
