Acer Aspire S7 Windows 8 Ultrabook
Introduction Of all of the bits of review kit that I've had the pleasure of using, the Acer Aspire S7 is the one that has gathered me the most questions and comments.

Great Ultrabook!
Had been waiting for a smaller Ultrabook for travel and work and the S-7 delivers! Love it and how small and portable it is. Glad I waited...only minor issues thus far is I keep hitting the "\" instead of the upper case button! Overall key board is solid even with large hands.

Astonishing: The thinnest and sexiest ultrabook we've seen is a touch-screen showpiece for Windows 8, as speedy as it is convenient and a sure-fire hit for the executive suite. But it's not cheap, and battery life could be better.
Pros:
- Vanishingly thin and light
- 10-point touch screen with wobble-free hinge
- Sharp 1080p display
- Swift performance
Cons:
- Premium price
- Shallow
- quirky keyboard
- Lackluster battery life

Acer Aspire S7
Acer gives the Ultrabook another try with the Aspire S7. At just half-an-inch thick and weighing less than 3 pounds, will this be Acer's best Ultrabook to date?
Pros:
- Extremely thin and light
- Attractive aesthetics
- Wonderful 1080p display
- Good sound quality
- Great performance
Cons:
- Poor keyboard
- Loud system fan
- Battery life is below average
- Not good for gamers

Priced at roughly AED 6500, the Aspire S7 should be on the top of your list if you are looking into getting a Windows Phone 8 based laptop. It is also available in 11" form factor and looks equally impressive.

A gorgeous piece of technology, performs well, but you're paying a serious premium for the design and build. Acer's Aspire S7 is a visually stunning Windows 8 Ultrabook.

stylish, pricey, disappointing
I really needed a new laptop for work, I also really wanted a 1080p screen, ultrabook, and will not buy an apple product (that's a whole other story), so this was my best option. If you do not need it right away, I would wait for things to improve especially with Windows 8 compatibility.
Pros:
- Beautiful and stylish, light weight
- Touchscreen, windows 8* (also a con), great 1080p display
Cons:
- Several disappointments
- battery seems like it lasts only around 4 hrs web browsing at 1/2 brightness
- touchpad is only a few steps above horrendous (that distinction is for the Asus Zenbook Prime touchpad which was so bad I had to return the laptop for this one
- for example typing an email every

Impressive ultrabook, nearly perfect
I've been waiting for a thin, light windows subnotebook that was powerful enough to run modern software. My needs were: small footprint, light weight, >WXGA+ screen, intel core processor, backlit keyboard, USB 3.0.

Review: Acer S7
When Intel first launched its Ultrabook branding last year it was met with a handful of different models from the major PC manufacturers. In the wake of Windows 8 we are going to see this trickle turn into a flood, as the number and diversity of Ultrabook designs swells with features designed to...

Acer Aspire S7-191
The MacBook Air has been the leading premium 11-inch ultraportable for as long as we can remember, but the Acer Aspire S7-191 ($1,199) is here to knock Apple's portable off its pedestal. What does this Ultrabook bring to the table?
Pros:
- Slim and sleek 2.2-pound design
- Extended battery included
- Very fast SSD
- Blazing boot time
Cons:
- Poor endurance without extended battery
- Relatively dim display
- Limited keyboard travel
