Acer Aspire S7 review: the gold standard for ultrabooks
Designed for Windows 8, the Acer Aspire S7 boasts a touchscreen and is sheathed in a super thin and sleek aluminum unibody chassis. Replete with a shockingly thin display, the 13.3-inch Acer Aspire S7 also benefits from tough, durable Gorilla 2 on the back. The interesting thing about this is...- Good performance Excellent battery life High-res touch screen...
- Expensive Lackluster touch...
Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook Review
Intel's 4th generation Core processors, based on the company's Haswell microarchitecture, have done good things for ultrabooks this year. Thanks to Haswell, Ultrabooks have moved much closer to Intel's original vision of thin, light, low-power (but still powerful) systems that eschew outdated...- Strong performance in office applications and reasonable graphics capabilities
- Keyboard layout puts important keys in unexpected places
Power and Convenience
It best ultra book for me. As i want a stylish one with longer battery timming.- Super slim design makes it very stylish and attractive
- It is expensive as compared to some other brands
It looks much better than it is actually. It is stupid that is terribly.
This product was recommended me by friend as a light and presentable ultrabook, which is comfortable for traveling. I liked its design and weight but when I was dealing with it I disappointed seriously. The battery works just 4 hours, while it was written - to 6.
The Acer Aspire S7-392 is everything we look for in the top ultrabooks, with the exception of a dedicated GPU. The 4th-generation processor adds substantial power-boost technology. There is a 1080p touchscreen display, and the device doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
- This ultrabook has one of the most elegant and beautiful designs on our lineup.
- There is a limited number of USB ports
This is the best notebook I used
This is a great ultrabook with a few small problems. It looks very nice, slim design and light weight allow you to take it everywhere. If you do not like tablets (and I prefer the notebook style) this is a great choice. However, it has a few small problems that user should solve before using.- Light
- Looks Awesome
- Power Efficience
- Slim
- Power button location
- Wifi connectivity
Acer's Aspire S7 gets a fourth-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and more built-in ports, but it has a couple of issues
Acer's Aspire S7 (the 391 model) was introduced last year to quite a few ‘oohs' and ‘ahs', mainly because it was a thin and light little thing with an attractive design. This year's Aspire S7-392 looks just like the old one, but it has a few significant differences in its configuration.- Looks good and feels good overall
- Long battery life
- Very good screen
- Keyboard could be better
- Touchpad clicked whenever we picked up the unit
- Power button location
- No accelerometer

Got the item very fast. Item is pretty good.
They gave a super good deal on this laptop. This laptop is one of the best laptops out there if you you're looking for something that is light but super fast. Touchscreen is super responsive and a huge plus.
Acer Aspire S7 review (2013): the second time's a charm for Acer's flagship Ultrabook
The second time's a charm for Acer: the company's refreshed S7 Ultrabook addresses all the things we disliked about the original. Just be prepared to pay a premium over competing laptops with similar specs.- Nice build materials
- Great viewing angles
- Fast performance
- longer battery life
- Improved touchpad
- Now runs quietly
- Enormous power brick
- No 2,560 x 1,440 option in the US
- Power button is difficult to press
- Expensive for what it is
